If only Dallas had flower markets like Seattle, am I right? Looking back at these photos from our trip to Seattle makes me miss this city even more. Like I said, we went to the market every day during our stay and I couldn't resist a $5 bouquet even if it did mean I would have to leave it behind. Cherry blossoms always remind me of our wedding and I couldn't say no.
I have been wearing this pink coat (under $40) so much since it's still chilly. It is such a steal and actually amazing quality for the price! See how I styled it with boyfriend jeans here. Happy Tuesday! xx

A Weekend in Seattle
pink coat | gold bracelet | ring
Last weekend, Austin and I had the most wonderful time in Seattle. It was my husbands first trip and my second, but it was equally just as exciting for both of us. While we aren’t gurus of this city, I did want to share with you some neat places for dining, sight seeing, and lodging while your downtown.
It was really important to us to find a hotel that was located near the water and Pike Place Market. I did some research and found The Palladian Hotel had everything we wanted!
Everything from the marble countertops to the food at Shaker + Spear was on point. We loved staying at this boutique hotel!

Day 1: After ...
The Packing List | Seattle
Hi Guys! I'm pretty excited to be heading off to Seattle with Austin tonight! He has a work conference there next week, and since I have an extra personal day to spend, I figured why not. I love little trips like this and can't wait to spend the next few days with him!
Seattle is truly one of my favorite cities. My husband has never been before, so I am excited to take a long weekend and explore the town together. Pikes Market is of course at the top of my list and maybe a little trip to Bainbridge Island. I would love to hear some of your suggestions! Food, shopping, places to see? I'm all ears!
As for packing, I like to keep it simple when it comes to my carry on. Give me a few magazines and a notepad to make a list and I am good to go. The OMG Bag from Lo & Sons is one of my favorite carry on's (a co-worker of mine uses this as her teacher bag and I am thinking about making the switch as well) since it fits everything so well. Like most people, I like to bring my laptop when traveling. This bag makes it worry free with the secure laptop pocket. I also like that it has plenty of storage for shoes, pens & notepads, and any other loose items I might throw in along the way.
Eek! Send me suggestions...I would love to hear them! xx
