A few weeks ago, Austin, myself and 8 of our close friends traveled to Napa and Sonoma for a beautiful, destination wedding. This was our second trip to wine country, but it was just as wonderful as the first.
Many of you asked about our favorite vineyards, places to eat and lodging recommendations, so I wanted to be sure I did a complete review of our stay and include some of our favorite stops. As always, feel free to reach out with questions!
Where to Eat in Sonoma & Napa
One of my favorite things about traveling, is trying new food and visiting neat restaurants. Breakfast is number one in my book and between Sonoma and Napa, we had some delicious meals. One of my favorite places for brunching with a view was The Fremont Diner. The weather is near perfect in Northern California so this makes for the perfect outside dining experience. We sat on a picnic table that overlooked beautiful hills and vineyards. I had the
To Napa We Go!
What better way to experience a wine tasting tour than in Napa Valley? Thanks to some of our good friends in SF, we were able to experience wine country the right way. On our way we did a few touristy things such as visit the Golden Gate Bridge. Loved the views! This picture above needs a little hashtag love with #nofilter...that is how beautiful the sky was that day...crazy! Here are some of my favorite moments from our trip to Napa...enjoy!

San Francisco: Day 2
Visting Fishermans Warf was probably my favorite part of our whole trip. I just loved the crisp air, noisy sealions, and delicious food on every corner. Here are some snapshots of our day around Fishermans Warf.

San Francisco | Day 1
Better late than never....a little recap of our weekend trip to San Fran. Looking through my pictures I realize there are wayy to many for one post...so this will just be part 1. Ah, where to start? Well, If you have never been to San Fran, I suggest you make a plan to visit... immediately! It was seriously such a BEAUTIFUL and exciting place to be! I could definitely move there. I mean I know it's the 2nd most expensive place to live but I'm sure a teacher salary would totally cut it there right? HA only kidding. Back to our trip. Day 1 was spent exploring the Union Square...Ghirardelli Square and of course shopping. I am really lucky to have a husband that is sweet enough to not complain and at least pretend to enjoy a day of running in and out of stores for just a "quick look". I'm not cruel though, I know he loves chocolate so it was only fair to sweeten the deal by ending up at the Ghirardelli store for some delicious hot choco (thanks Lauren for the suggestion). Can't wait to share day 2 and 3 with you! xo-ashley
