Hi Friends! I hope you all had a wonderful & relaxing 4th of July. We spent yesterday with Austin's family and enjoyed time by the pool and ended the night with fireworks & s'mores (my favorite).
Today's look is one of my favorites for Summer (or Spring). I am obsessed (I know, that word is so overused, but it seems appropriate) with this striped blouse and if you follow me on instagram or snapchat, you know I've been wearing it a lot! ...
The Not-So-Basic White Blouse
Happy Monday friends! I hope you all had a great weekend. You guys know I am a sucker for neutrals and can't pass up a good white blouse. This poncho style Lace Blouse is so fun and feminine for Summer. I love the style (not sheer) and the length is perfect for jeans or shorts. I'm thinking this could be a fun option with denim shorts and navy flats for the 4th of July. ...
White Eyelet Skirt
There's just something about the ease of a white cotton skirt (on sale!) that has me excited for Summer. White in general is something we see more during the Spring & Summer. Women start wearing more creams and pastels, and we see an influx of neutrals with pops of color. My summer uniform is usually more causal, but there are many times where I need (or would like) a classic knee length skirt. ...
Casual in Spring Pastels
Bonjour! We made it to Paris and despite a little jet lag, I am loving this beautiful city. I'm hoping to have some photos soon to share with you all! Until then, I wanted to share a look with you from last week featuring a few casual pieces from Vince Camuto. ...
Sweater Dress
Every fall wardrobe needs a knit sweater dress. It's a great option for warmer days but can also be worn with layers when it get's chilly. I recently, found this Turtleneck Sweater Dress by Wayf. I love the way it fits. I've always struggled to find a good fitting sweater dress, and this one takes the cake.
I find sweater dresses are an easy way to adjust with the season. They can take you through the winter months with a pair of leather leggings or tights and are perfect to wear with booties or tall boots. I also like the idea of throwing on this vest (also seen here) or a plaid scarf as a fun way to accessorize this rather simple look.
Thanks for reading and thank you for sending in your questions regarding yesterday's post. Keep them coming!

Pink Silk Blouse
Over the past year, I've really been trying to invest in wardrobe staples that don't seem to go out of style. As much as I love a silk blouse, they can definitely be hard on the wallet. Equipment is one of my favorite brands for silk pieces, but recently I tried this version from Vince Camuto (and it's under $100!)
Being the sucker that I am for a classic, silk blouse, this was hard to pass up. I love this with shorts, white pants, or these boyfriend jeans. What are some of your favorite brands for silk tops?

Denim Days
When I think of a denim jacket, I immediately revert back to the (not- so- joyous) memories of middle school. I'm pretty sure GAP was the only place to score the denim jacket and I can remember all too well me wearing my jacket with my rhinestone bebe tank top. Complete with baggy sleeves of course. Yikes. Ok, well fast forward 15 years and I am actually finding myself ahem, obsessed (yeah, I said it) with this updated version from J Crew. The light color makes it really easy to wear with a lot of tops, dresses, and even denim. You can see how I paired it with this striped dress here.
Thanks for reading and have a wonderful weekend!

Everyday Basics
Now that March is here, I'm officially staring to wear some of my Spring essentials. This weekend we got a taste of Spring weather (rain included!). It got me motivated to dig through my closet and pull out some of my staple pieces for Spring.
One of my go to outfits is my Vince Camuto White Blouse (now on sale), distressed jeans, and my Vince Camuto Mules. You may have known Vince Camuto strictly as a shoe designer, but his brand is so much more. Nordstrom has the new Spring Collection and it really is gorgeous. Lots of pastels and fun patterns. Perfect for the warmer weather! Side note: I have been looking everywhere for a great pair of peep toe mules and these are by far my favorite. They really are so comfy and I love that they can fit narrow feet.
There's just something about the ease of a white blouse and distressed denim that I find effortlessly chic. I've linked more Vince Camuto favorites as well as some of my favorite sandals below.
