Casual Stripes

Casual Stripes

Happy Friday! Any fun plans for the weekend? Our weekend is pretty busy, but I am really looking forward to it! Tonight we are meeting some friends for dinner, and tomorrow I am meeting with some girls from our Bible Study, then getting ready to host family game night! Our families love games, so we are excited to have Austin's family over for dinner and games. Should be a fun night! On another note, I've worn this outfit 3 times since we shot this last week. No shame, it's just that good! You guys won't believe that this cardigan is only $23. Crazy right? I love any long cardigan and this fabric is lightweight so it's the perfect transition piece. Have a great weekend and thanks for reading! xx Outfit Details:  SheInside Striped Cardigan (one size // fits like a small/medium // good quality) | Black Tank Top | Blank Denim Jeans (size down) | Celine Mini Tote (budget friendly version here) | Wedges (go a 1/2 size up) | Baublebar Pearl Bracelet c/o | Watch (ON SALE) | Baublebar Necklace | ...

Little White Dress

Little White Dress

Just like the Little Black Dress, every girl needs to have a go-to white dress for Spring/Summer.  This fit and flare dress (also comes in green here) was just what I wanted for the new season. My style usually gravitates towards the shift or drop waist style, but I couldn't pass up the gorgeous detailing on this dress. This girly fit surprised me and I actually loved the high waist- full skirt. It's easily a perfect dress for any occasion, especially if you are a bride-to-be! Outfit Details: Donna Morgan White Dress (runs tts, but if in between sizes go down) c/o  | YSL Bag | Jessica Simpson Shoes c/o | Baublebar Chain Bracelet, Cage Bracelet | Lipstick- NARS Gloss "Angelika" Click to Shop ...

Summer Dressing

Summer Dressing

I'm so excited to be breaking out some of my summer dresses. It's this time of year, where the countdown for summer is on and I start looking to buy some fun dresses for warmer weather. This is one of my most recent buys for summer and it it under $20! I like that this navy dress (size up for a dress, or go TTS for a tunic/top fit) can be worn for a few different occasions. Here, I kept it super casual with my Tory Burch Espadrilles (more sizes here), but I also plan to wear it on the beach in a couple months. At this price point, you can't go wrong!   Outfit Details: SheInside Navy Dress (also comes in white // I am wearing a medium, the small fit, but was a little shorter. Would make a great tunic with jeans! This is a thin material (not sheer, just thin) and I am wearing a half slip under it. Love this dress!!!) | Tory Burch Espadrilles (more sizes here and more colors here) | Elizabeth Stone Double Trouble Necklace c/o | Maya Brenner Initial Necklace  (budget ...

Spring Trench

Spring Trench

If there is one item that needs to be in your closet, it's a trench coat. I never realized how versatile this lightweight jacket was until I finally purchased one. And if you just peruse pinterest, you will see tons of more inspiration as well! You can't go with a classic khaki color or if you want something fresh for spring, try out a pastel color like this blue trench coat. Personally, I love this powder blue option. I kept the rest of my look pretty simple, with a classic white button down and jeans (25% OFF with code SPRING25) but I also plan to pair it with this striped dress. The options are endless! PS- don't forget to take advantage of the SHOPBOP 25% OFF SALE! I just picked up this for an upcoming beach trip and these for summer!      Shop the Post: Chicwish

crochet tunic

crochet tunic

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and great Easter! Both of our families were out of town, so our Easter was a little quieter than most. You may have seen some of my snapchats (username- "theteacherdiva") but we went to church at The Village (email me if you want more details!) and then went to brunch at True Food Kitchen. It was nice just the two of us, but we sure missed our families! The weather on Saturday was perfect (I wish I could say the same about yesterday.) This Crochet Tunic was perfect for running errands with Austin and grabbing some lunch. I can't wait to wear it more this summer and take it with me to the beach. The fabric is so soft and I love that it doesn't wrinkle. I wore my favorite jeans and wedges to complete this summery look. I hope everyone has a great Monday and thanks so much for stopping by! xx      Shop the Look: ChicWish Crochet Tunic c/o (I'm wearing a size medium, almost wish I went with the small!) | Blank Denim Skinny Boyfriend Jeans (true to size-

How to Decorate Your Home in 5 Easy Steps

How to Decorate Your Home in 5 Easy Steps

Black & White Tunic

Black & White Tunic

Black and white is always a classic combo that I love to wear during any season. But now that spring is here, I'm finding any excuse to wear my white denim. I have been wearing these (under $60) many times and have found that they are really versatile. I threw on this striped tunic (only $10!) for an easy weekend look. It’s cotton so I can easily throw it in the wash (a necessary feature when you’re wearing it as often as I have been). It certainly would make a good top for spring and definitely an essential for summer! Shop the Post: Sheinside Striped Tunic (only $10) | White Denim | Shoes | Saint Laurent Bag | Baublebar Tassel Necklace (without pearls here), Criss Cross Ring | MK Watch | Lips- YSL 'Pink Rain'

Mini Crossbody Tote

Mini Crossbody Tote

While I typically find myself carrying an oversized bag, I recently learned that a mini cross-body can be just as effective as it is cute. I have always loved Rebecca Minkoff's bags (you may know her as the designer behind this trendy bag) and I have had my eye on this little Mini Mab Tote. The pop of pink is not the norm for me, but I loved the idea of carrying this with simple outfits or with patterns for a bold statement. It actually holds a lot more than I would have imagined, and it's the perfect accessory for running errands. I've found that this bag comes in almost every color and I've linked my favorites under $200 from Nordstrom below. Shop the Post: Rebecca Minkoff 'Mini Mab Tote' | Crochet Peasant Top ( under $40 // wearing a small) | Blank Denim Shredded Jeans (size down one size) | Sunglasses | Steve Madden Espadrille Wedge Sandals (go a 1/2 size up) | Lipstick- Bare Minerals 'Candy Pop' with NARS '
