Last week I posted this picture of my desk on Instagram and had no idea it would get such positive feedback. I received many emails and comments requesting more pictures and details so I figured- why not give you guys a front row view! Office supplies might be one of my weaknesses, right next to buying lipstick. Maybe it's the teacher in me, but I get so excited to see new (and cute) office supplies. I should probably clarify, this is not my teacher desk (I only wish my teacher desk was this cute and clean). This is the desk I use at home. After moving a couple weeks ago, we are finally getting things organized. But please don't be fooled, if only you could see the mess of laundry behind my right now. Leather Details

When it comes to Summer dressing, leather usually isn't the first to come to mind. Light and breezy layers, rolled up shorts and my favorite sandals are at the top of my list. Black Lace

I used to think that wearing all black was overwhelming, however my mind has changed since I found these black lace shorts. Is it just me or does it seem like this is the week of "sales"? As I was scrolling through my inbox this morning I felt slightly overwhelmed by all the sales going on. The only one that's really getting all the buzz is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, which happens to be amazing.  But you know when you get to the email, and you actually get excited because it's a sale worth looking at? Summer Vibes

My closet usually consists of neutral pieces. I like to mix and match of course, but if I do prints, they are usually pretty subdued. I knew this Lilly Pulitzer Maxi from St. Bernard Sports was the perfect solution to brighten up my wardrobe. The versatility of this dress is endless. I wore it here with wedges, but I plan to wear it to the beach thrown over a bikini (love this one from Mara Hoffman) and paired with a lightweight denim jacket at night. Lip color has always been one my favorite beauty buys. No matter how I feel or whatever mood I'm in, buying a lipgloss can always cheer me up! By the looks of it, I am a true fan of the pinks.
