For the Home | Black & White

When it comes to decorating, I always gravitate towards black and white. It's a great canvas to add bold patterns such as leopard or bright colors. I always use Pinterest as my inspiration board, I mean who doesn't? These are some of my favorites that I have recently pinned. We are pretty much done re-doing out apartment, but I always enjoy adding little things here and there. These pictures are a great reminder that a little goes a long way, and that a pop of leopard is always a good idea. XX     | SHOP FOR THE HOME | Images via Pinterest ...

You’re A Fox

You’re A Fox

I am a sucker for good packaging. So when it comes to snail mail, I only choose the prettiest and best stationary. After all, who doesn't like receiving pretty mail? When I came across this set of letter press cards, it was love at first sight. So much, that I am almost too scared to write on them for fear I will mess up! (I actually think I may end up framing a few for decoration.) With the gold foil writing and neon pink border, what's not to love? These cards are currently sold out, but Jane is hoping to bring them back soon. To stay in the loop, be sure to subscribe to jane.com! They have new products daily, so you don't want to miss out! Around the House | Pretty Things

Around the House | Pretty Things

I've told you all that I have been updating our home and doing a little re-decorating. I'm still wanting to get around and do a full post on our home, but this will have to do for now. With that being said, I have become addicted to coffee table books. These colorful ones caught my eye and are the perfect addition in our living room. These books not only keep me entertained and provide endless inspiration, but it makes me so happy to see stacks of them throughout our home. I also added my trust worthy Calf Hair iPhone Case, Heart Statement Necklace, and leather Blair Ritchey Pencil Pouch. This python pouch is my new favorite bag to hold my everyday essentials. You know, pink lipgloss, Chapstick, and of course Tylenol. For more pretty things see my guide below! XX

Me Time

Me Time

In this fast paced world we live in, it's important to set time out and enjoy some me time.  It's so easy to get caught up in the day to day hustle that we often forget to sit back and relax.  It's not easy for me to unplug and reflect, but I make the time. Whether that's framing an old wedding picture or painting my nails with a new shade for fall, it's the little things that inspire me and keep me calm and collected. Fresh flowers are also easy on the eyes. I'm telling you, just the aspect of fresh flowers really changes the feeling in my house. I actually want to keep it clean and organized. Ha, maybe they should be a weekly thing? Oh and did I mention my love for chocolate? Not just any chocolate, Lindt LINDOR milk chocolate truffles. These irresistible truffles are a must. I always keep a stash on hand, so don't be surprised if you find one in my purse... true story. Come on, what's a girl to do without her chocolate?  I hope this week you can find time to reflect and enjoy the little things! Have a great week! ...

Card Swag

Card Swag

Business cards? What are those? That's how I felt when people asked me for one and I looked like a deer in the headlights since 1. I didn't have any because 2. who the heck would want my business card. To my surprise, opportunities came to to where I needed some card swag and was empty handed. Like, I'm writing down my info on a Post-It. In Neiman Marcus. That's professional. With that being said, I was convinced to get on this. I really wanted letterpress, but thought for the first time maybe not. Let's just see how this round goes and maybe I'll make the investment next time around.  I wanted a design that was simple and clean but also incorporated my brand. I love how they turned out.  I can't take credit for these though, my husband actually designed these. He is pretty stinkin' good in my opinion. I printed them from moo.com and couldn't be happier. I went with their luxe paper, sounds fancy right? It is. They are like letterpress just a little more affordable.  They turned out awesome. Black outer lining and super thick. These bad boys should do the trick for now! ...

In Hause Press might be my favorite shop on ETSY for paper goods  This San Francisco company has a modern edge that I love. Whether you go with stationary, calling cards, or invitations, these letter pressed lovlies will sweep you off your feet.

Writing it down…

Writing it down…

Happy 2013! With the start of the new year, I can't help but think of new planners...calendars...and anything I can use to help me try to stay organized. I kind of have an obsession with planners and calendars (if you didn't know...I like to plan).  My husband really  wants me to stick with the calendar on my iPhone because you can sync it up with the ipad..email...etc. but there is something about writing it down that I can't let go of! Am I crazy?!  Yea, it may seem a little "old fashion" to have a calendar plastered on the wall or a daybook shoved in your tote bag, but I think of it as an extra accessory to express your stylish side! With that being said, here are some of my favorites...enjoy!!
