Kendra Scott is one of my favorite designers for many reasons. Her down to earth demeanor and her amazing work ethic are just a few to mention. I had a chance to meet Kendra a few months ago (here) and she was truly just as sweet as you would have hoped.
Not only is Kendra super successful, but she also has a huge heart for giving back to the community. In light of tomorrow's Kendra Gives Back event (hope you can make it!) I have pulled some of my favorite spring favorites from her newest collection. These neon stones are so hot right now, but if neon isn't your thing, she has some beautiful neutrals. Either way, you can't go wrong!

Beauty Talk | Think Pink
Beauty Talk is one of my favorite series on The Teacher Diva. While I love the fashion, I also love reviewing beauty and skin care products and giving you all feedback. I guess it stems back to my years working in a beauty salon and constantly working with customers to help them find the best products for their skin and hair. I loved researching and trying everything! It was such a fun job and now I am excited I get to share my favorites with you guys.
A trend that is so hot for Spring this year is pink! While I may not have a ton of pink in my wardrobe, I do have a lot in my makeup bag. I just picked up this YSL Lipstick in color #9 and I can't stop wearing it. It looks a little mauve-y in these pictures, but it really is a great pink. The guy at the makeup counter said "It's the most flattering shade and looks great on all skin tones". Of course that sold me instantly, but when I tried it, I completely agreed! I have also worn it with the YSL Golden Gloss in #49 for a brighter pop of color.

Silver Letters
Monogrammed jewelry is something we are seeing everywhere. Whether it's a necklace or ring, it's the hot thing right now. Groopdealz has this silver initial necklace on sale today only. Shopping Is My Cardio
It's probably not a surprise to you that I like to shop. I mean, what girl doesn't? This shirt caught my eye immediately and I thought it was perfect not only to wear as a cute top with jeans, but also for a work out. I can't really "run run" like my sis in law, Megan.
My newest obsession has been Pure Barre. You may have seen me post about it here. I love it because it's actually something I can do. I've joined gyms in the past and (unfortunately) wasted my money, but this is something I actually look forward to. The class is an hour of intense, small movement exercises focusing on strength and core. Who knew that lifting three pound weights in small one inch lifts could actually do something? Black Hearts
This past weekend we took a little road trip and traveled to Houston for a friends wedding. It was absolutely gorgeous and we has such a fun time. Before the wedding, we went over to Rive Village. Austin and I enjoyed walking around the shops and eating at Black Walnut Cafe (ah-mazing food). Thanks to those who gave us suggestions via insta...love hearing from you guys and totally value your opinion!

Dallas to Houston
I love a little weekend getaway....even if it is just a few hours away. This weekend my husband and I are driving to Houston for a friends wedding. We are excited because it will be a new change of scenery and we both have never been before. I am looking forward to brunching at Tiny Box Woods (thanks Chelsea for the recommendation!) and doing a little shopping, of course. I am a sucker for good packaging. So when it comes to snail mail, I only choose the prettiest and best stationary. After all, who doesn't like receiving pretty mail?
