The bell sleeve trend is out in full force these days. And I have zero complaints over here. I am loving the exaggerated sleeve! However, I have found that this white bell sleeve blouse is more understated than some of the others I've seen. And for me, that is a good thing. While I love bold prints, ruffles and bows, I find that the simplicity of this white blouse is going to get more wear this season. Pair it with denim or white pants [also worn here] for a classic yet elevated look. ...
When it comes to style, I tend to be more simplistic and minimal. While I love to take part in the trends and wear the occasional statement piece, I feel most comfortable in basics.
I like to look for items that can be worn with a variety of pieces in my wardrobe and this Black Maxi Cardigan (now on sale) is one of those staples. I've worn this sweater so many times over the past couple of weeks (it's a little embarrassing) but it just goes to show how it's one of those quality pieces that will last. I don't own a lot of maxi cardigans, but after this one, I may add a few more in my closet.

Growing up, my parents always taught me to be true to myself and follow my dreams. They encouraged me to be confident, yet humble, and appreciate life's blessings both big and small. As an adult, I aim to carry those values daily. When I think about what it means to live to the beat of your drum, I immediately think of living life authentically and being true to yourself. Not giving in to what others do or say, and going after you dreams and passions.
