I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend! I don’t know about you but I sure did enjoy an extra day to sleep in and do some things on our new house. We finally got around to getting our night stands (added a little DIY touch…more coming soon), hung some curtains and bought some new items for decorating. Nothing big, just things we needed to get done!
Over the weekend I wore this feather print tunic, new boyfriend jeans and (the best) leather tote for a long brunch followed by errands. Side note: I was so scared to try boyfriend jeans (especially because I ordered these online-sized down!) but once I got past the fact that yes, they are more “relaxed”, I quickly grew to love them. A fun tunic paired with good denim is my kind of weekend wear.

I was scared too…and honestly, my husband hates them (they are growing on him though) I can’t do the super relaxed fit, these seemed to be a happy medium!

I love boyfriend jeans, although I like to wear them baggier. I usually stay true to size and then balance the look with a more fitted top.
