Over the past year, I’ve really started to make smart choices when it came to purchasing clothes. When looking in my closet, I realized that my “trendy” and cheaper clothes have seen better days (you know, the top that you wash once and it starts to unravel…!!!) and my classic pieces are still the ones I gravitate towards first. It’s made me more aware that trends can be fun, but if I want something to last, I need to choose quality over quantity.
Recently, I was introduced to Zady, an online boutique featuring unique products hand made by artisans from all over the world. Their primary focus is to be able to provide quality and sustainable products that will last. If you go to their site, you will find leather bags, accessories for the home, and handmade jewelry, but the first thing I saw was the .02 T- Shirt.
In my opinion, there’s nothing more essential in your closet than a classic white t-shirt. As much as I like to wear a silk blouse or a flirty dress, I feel most comfortable in a soft cotton tee. I like this version because the fabric is thick and not sheer (I hate buying tops only to find out that they are sheer) and it’s very soft. I always layer my t-shirts and I loved the way it looked with this navy blazer. The fit is timeless and definitely something that I will wear season after season.
