Birthday Wishlist

Well, it’s officially birthday week over here and the countdown to 29 is on! Thursday is my official birthday, but in my family, we like to keep the celebrations going all week. Yesterday, I took the day off  and spent the morning grabbing coffee with my mom, followed by a little pre-birthday shopping at the mall. Mom and I always plan little dates like this during my birthday week and vice versa, so I am looking forward to spending some time with her. Even when I was teaching full time, my birthday always fell on Spring Break so it’s become somewhat of a tradition.

Below are a few of my favorite things that I am loving for Spring! I love buying gifts for my friends and family, but sometimes it can be tricky finding that “perfect” gift. I’ve found that adding a personal touch can make all of the difference. For example, this Kate Spade Water Bottle (under $20) would be so cute with some crinkle paper inside and a handwritten tag tied around that says ‘Cheers to _ _ !”. I love adding small details to gifts!
