Gingham Off The Shoulder Blouse

Off the shoulder outfit

You guys may have seen me wearing this Gingham Off The Shoulder Blouse several times on Snapchat and Instagram (username: theteacherdiva) but it’s one of those tops that I just want to wear over and over again. The “Off The Shoulder” trend is in full force this season and I can’t help but add a few of these tops to my Spring and Summer wardrobe.

I have loved this Gingham print but I also love this solid black off the shoulder top (it’s under $40 and runs true to size).  I also have this striped dress in my shopping cart (I love the sleeves). What are your thoughts on off the shoulder tops?

I also wanted to talk a little about these M. Gemi flats. I’ve worn a few pairs on here and Instagram before and received many emails asking about the quality, sizing and well, if they are worth the price. Which is totally understandable…it can be tricky ordering online so I am happy to help! I really do love these shoes. I’ve purchased two pairs of flats from M. Gemi before, and while this pair was gifted, I found each pair to be worth every penny. They are a little on the pricey side, but there’s a few things to keep in mind. Each pair is handmade in Italy with genuine leather or suede. You truly pay for the quality you get. I also found these shoes to be very comfortable. I purchased The Felize when I was teaching and was truly impressed with the comfort and fit. Being on my feet all day, they were a nice treat! I also bought the beautiful lace-up Brezza flats, and found them to be just as comfy. Let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks for stopping by! xx Ashley

I am loving this trend! Only problem is I work in the corporate world and can’t decide if I should buy one knowing I can only wear it on the weekend .. This one is so cute though I might have to go for it!

I would love to find a white or black off-the-shoulder that I could wear as a staple piece, but I haven’t quite found the one. The Today Show also had great tips for homeade tricks to keep the shirt “off the shoulder” using safety pins and rubber bands 🙂

Love the look! I’m looking for a solid white or black that could function as a staple piece this season since it does seem to be a trend. The Today Show posted a great segment on tricks to keep the sleeves in place 😉
