Hi Everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. If you saw my snaps, you know I took a few days off from posting here while on a work trip in Austin (more details to come August 26th!). I wanted to share a quick look with you all featuring this faux wrap blouse from Nordstrom. This reminded me so much of a blouse I have in denim (seen here). I have worn it countless times and love the shape. I was thrilled to find it in a few more colors. I also love that this blouse is longer in the back (similar to another style I have in white), which makes it versatile to wear with your favorite skinny jeans or leggings. I actually just ordered it in black too!
Tonight, we are hosting a little dinner for Austin’s family. His sister, Caroline, leaves for college on Friday so we wanted to spend some time as a family before she leaves. We are keeping it pretty casual and cooking burgers on the grill, but I am going to run and get some fresh flowers and an apple pie (I wish I could whip one up, but I want this one to actually be appetizing). I love hosting! We honestly don’t do it too often, but when we have the opportunity, I love to volunteer. It’s just a nice feeling to have everyone together in your home. Here’s to hoping Lucy’s on her best behavior. If you saw yesterday’s snapchat you know that she’s getting into a very stubborn phase. Ha!
