As Fall is quickly approaching, I find myself looking for sweaters, boots, and scarves to add in my wardrobe. Like most of you, I have several sweaters that I rotate each season, but I do like to add a few new styles to my collection. I recently found this split back knit sweater and it was too soft to pass up. With the split detailing on the back, this sweater is anything but basic.
I bought this sweater with caution, as it’s pretty hard for me to pull off “open back” styles. I love the Free People brand, they always make soft & cozy knits, so I wanted to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the slits weren’t as “revealing” as I thought and I could easily wear a normal bra. I actually purchased it in black too!
I kept the look pretty simple (and neutral) with my Current Elliot Jeans (you guys know how much I love these jeans) and nude pumps. In the meantime, this would look adorable with jean shorts and booties.
I’m coming back from New York today. It’s been a fun trip but I am very much ready to be home with Austin and Lucy. Fashion Week is exciting but it’s exhausting being “on” 24/7. I am looking forward to resting and getting back into a normal schedule. Is it crazy that I am actually looking forward to cleaning, unpacking and doing laundry? Ha!
