Wear to Work: The Perfect Sweater Dress

Grid Scarf

There’s just something about a “grid pattern” that has me intrigued. Ever since buying this top (worn here) over the Summer, I have been on the hunt for more accessories & tops in a similar print. I guess it could be that it’s a refreshing break from my go-to “stripes”, but either way I love the geometric print. I first saw this windowpane wool & cashmere scarf weeks ago and immediately scooped it up. This past weekend I finally had the opportunity to wear it and I loved the way it looked with this mock turtleneck sweater dress from Nordstrom. This dress is a great option for Fall & Winter because it’s both practical and work appropriate (be sure to read below for sizing tips).

This dress is ideal to wear with leggings or tights. You can even throw on your favorite faux fur vest for a layered look. If you are looking for more work wear inspo, be sure to check out my Wear to Work series.

Thanks for stopping by! xx Ashley

SWEATER DRESS OUTFIT DETAILS:

BP Sweater Dress (fit: this runs big, I am in a small but wish I tried the XS. The overall fit is supposed to be relaxed, but I would suggest going down a size) | Halogen Windowpane Grid Scarf (similar print if you like the square style scarf ) | Sezane Saddle Bag (similar style here) | Sam Edelman Slouchy Tall Boots (fit: true to size) If heels are too much for the workplace, these are a similar option | Nixon Ragnar Watch *on sale!* | Karen Walker Super Duper Sunglasses | Lipstick: Blankety | Lipliner: Pillowtalk (my favorite, universal shade!)

This is such a perfect sweater dress for work because it’s long enough and not tight. Love it!
