The 5 Shoe Styles You Need For Spring

shoes for spring

With a new season underway, I bet many of you are getting your favorite sandals out and ready to wear. I know I am! As we say goodbye to some of our trustworthy boots and winter footwear, it’s time to welcome new shoe trends for spring. From lace-ups to slides and mules, this shoe season is one to embrace.

What shoe trends are you loving this season? Feel free to let me know in the comments below!

Thanks for reading! xx Ashley

5 SPRING SHOE STYLES:

LACE UP FLATS2lace-up sandals Ashley Robertson Hair The lace-up flat is an essential for spring & summer. Pair it with your favorite denim or sun-dress for a for a girly feel. I love these Lace-Up Sandals by Louise et Cie at Nordstrom. I took these with us to California last month and wore them several times during our trip. To my surprise, they were very comfortable to wear. I also like how you can wear the tie with a floppy bow or wrapped around twice for a smaller bow. These are at the top of my list, but I also have my eye on this pair from Jack Rodgers.

BLOCK HEEL

The block heel might be my favorite trend of them all. I’ll always prefer flats over heels, but if I do want a little height, I opt for a block heel. This pair from Sole Society has been my go-to. They are comfortable, easy to wear and I love the gladiator style. These mules are also on my list. They look like the perfect shoe to wear (almost) year round.

I love a good pair of slides. And when I saw this designer inspired pair, I knew I had to give them a try. If you’ve worn Sam Edelman sandals before, you know they are actually pretty comfortable. I found the Berit Sandal to feel just like the ever so popular, Gigi Sandal. In regards to the fit, I did find these to run a tad small (I went up a 1/2 size). My overall take on this pair is pretty positive. I really like these shoes and think they will be a staple this summer! I’ve also heard great things about this classic style. I love the white and blush suede color.

ESPADRILLE

There’s no shoe more fitting for spring & summer like the espadrille. Whether you go flats or heels, they are a great option for warmer weather. I love this tie wedge sandal by Marc Fisher. If you’re looking for a lower heel option, try these!

TheTeacherDiva-59-4 BOW MULESTheTeacherDiva-74-4

The bow is making a huge statement this season. I found these Slip-On Mules and couldn’t resist the oversized bow. If you’re also liking the bow detailing, I suggest giving these slides a try. We have a work conference in a few weeks and I am wearing these mules with my pink midi dress. They will be the perfect way to tie (see what I did there?) the whole look together!
