The saying goes, “Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself”. There’s something refreshing about being able to be yourself in all areas of life! I love the new initiave Express has taken on for Spring 2017 with “Your Life, Your Dress Code”as the key message. Encouraging both men and women to be yourself when it comes to your style and dress for what makes you feel comfortable and confident.
When it comes to my personal style, I find myself to be feminine, classic and somewhat traditional. And though I don’t rely too much on trend, I do have a few trendier pieces in my closet that I wear from time to time.
This Tie Sleeve Dress from Express is the definition of my perfect summer dress. The tie sleeves and midi length make this dress ideal for date night or summer picnics. I also love that the sleeves can be adjusted to be worn off the shoulder. The best thing about this dress is the versatility. You can wear it by itself pair it with this neutral cardigan or denim jacket to wear in the office or when the temperature goes down at night.
