When it comes to my personal style, I always like to have a few go-to outfits for different occasions. These are the outfits that take the guess work out of planning and are perfect for those days when I am crunched for time or have “nothing to wear”. Hey, we’ve all been there!
For spring, my uniform is quite simple. And though it might be perceived “basic”, it’s what I feel most comfortable in. Especially if I’m not wanting to spend the time in planning my outfit. The best part about a “uniform”, is it consists of the pieces you wear most often (or feel the most confident in).
Here are 3 of my favorite pieces to refine or update your spring uniform:
Grab a Lightweight Jacket:
Block heels are a trend that I am loving this year. I wore this pair by Vince Camuto and find them surprisingly comfortable. Pairing a lace-up sandal with your denim is a great way to elevate your look.
Say Yes to Ruffles:
Need I say more? Whether you’re over the trend or committed to this feminine style, it looks as if it’s here to stay. According to our favorite brands & publications, ruffles are forecasted to be “in” for the rest of the year (and 2018). So if you don’t have anything with ruffle detailing, now would be a great time to join the fun.
What is your spring uniform? I’d love to hear about your go-to pieces! xx Ashley
