Many of you know Austin and I did a survey a few weeks ago asking readers (new and old) to provide us feedback on the things we’ve been doing, future goals and general information. We were overwhelmed with the amount of you that took the time to fill it out. In all seriousness we did not expect that many entries. So if you were able to leave us feedback, thank you! One of the many requests we saw was “wear to work“ outfit ideas, shoe recommendations and work bags.
I have a small section of topics for workwear, but we are definitely going to add more of this topic going forward.
Several of you specifically mentioned that you are able to wear jeans in your office (lucky you!) and wanted outfits that featured “nice” jeans for the work place (meaning, no rips, tears or frayed edges). I hear you! It’s always good to have a nice pair of “clean cut” denim in your wardrobe regardless.
I found this pair by Parker Smith or this pair from Ann Taylor, to be ideal for an denim-friendly office. Dark denim usually looks nicer and can appear dressier than a light wash. I also like that the thread detail is minimal and not bold. To keep this more on the professional side, I paired this with a boyfriend blazer (you guys know this is my favorite blazer I own) and a block heel. Stay tuned for more workwear options coming in 2018! And if you did not get to participate in the survey, feel free to send us your feedback at email@example.com with the subject line FEEDBACK.
Thanks and have a great weekend! x Ashley
