All-Natural, Glow-Boosting Skincare to use This Winter

My skin hasn’t been the same since finding out I was pregnant. If you’ve read my skincare posts before, you know I have acne/oily prone skin. Getting that “glow” was never really on my radar since I was using blotting papers by noon. But now, things have changed. My skin is dry and frankly, the weather isn’t helping. I’m doing everything I can to get that glow.

And though I haven’t made the switch to an entire clean beauty routine, I am being more thoughtful about what I am using. Below, I’ve rounded up 5 clean products all available at Nordstrom that really work and give you a little boost this winter.

Have you tried any of these? xx Ashley

CLEANSER: INDIE LEE BRIGHTENING

I am new to this brand, but I have been loving this brightening face wash for the past month. I wrote about this in last weeks newsletter and several of you replied that you have also used Indie Lee products and were very happy with the cleanser, toner and oils. I purchased the cleanser a month ago and find it to be refreshing and gentle on my skin. I still continue to double cleanse to get off all my makeup (more on this coming soon) and this is a nice compliment to that routine.

SERUM: C.E.O. RAPID FLASH

Sunday Riley is a brand that I have used for years — I love their Saturn Line for acne. And a couple months ago I purchased this vitamin C serum. As someone who gets their hands on products regularly, this is one of the best brightening serums I’ve tried. And it’s infused with 15 percent THD ascorbate which has been referred to as the gold standard form of vitamin C. I use one pump every morning. I have several dark spots from previous acne scars and after a week of consistent use, they started to fade.

FACE MASK: TATA HARPER RESURFACING

I used this mask well before I was pregnant but now, I find myself using it far more often. I know everyone talks about that “pregnancy glow” but for me, I need a little help. This mask is by far one of my favorites (pregnant or not). It’s ideal for clogged pores, dull skin or if you need an instant boost. I’ve been doing this mask twice a week and leave it on for 30 minutes.

EYE MASK: ELEMIS PRO-COLLAGEN HYDRA-GEL

I know you guys have seen these on my Instagram stories before, but these truly are the best there is. I put mine in the fridge and they are so refreshing on tired eyes!

HIGHLIGHTER: TATA HARPER HIGHLIGHTER

This is more of a beauty product than skincare product but oh how it makes your skin glow! Full disclosure, I like my Tom Ford Glow Drops better, BUT if you want something all natural, this is a very close second. Put a dab on your cupids bow, tip of your nose and on the top of your cheekbone for a dewy, hydrated look.

You are so beautiful!! I love your hair and your style!! You are gonna have the cutest baby! Congratulations!! You should go to http://www.beautypedia.com and look up each product you mentioned in the search box up top. It’s the Paula from Paula’s Choice, the cosmetic cop’s website. She had great reviews and let’s you what’s good and bad about different skincare brands and or makeup. She doesn’t like any skincare that has fragrance or in a tub. Check it out. It sure has helped me know if a product is actually beneficial. Anyway, love your blog! You have impeccable taste….
