One Look, Two Ways: The Classic Sweater Dress

A few weeks ago I stumbled upon this gem of a dress. Lately, I’ve been living in anything stretchy, comfy and easy to wear. This dress was a real win for me and knowing it’s under $40 makes it even better. It’s not too heavy and ideal to wear as we transition into spring. Whether you are heading from desk to dinner or wanting a new approach to styling a sweater dress, here’s a couple ways I’ve been wearing it lately.

LOOK ONE

Date Night, Work Dinner, Work Event, Baby Shower or Happy Hour

I love these white booties (mine are old here’s a similar style) and have been wanting any excuse to wear them. However, I can’t be in heels quite as long and as before. So if I have an opportunity to wear them to dinner or a short event, I take it. I love the neutral look and how they complimented the color of this sweater dress. Pair it with a small handbag and you’re all set.

LOOK TWO

Casual Work Day, Errands, Client Meetings, Brunch and (again) Happy Hour

This is my favorite way to wear this dress. Maybe it’s because I live in my Golden Goose Sneakers (here’s how I find them for less) and love any excuse to throw on my army green jacket (more ways to style your army green jacket). This option is comfy and allows room if you are dressing a bump.
