5 WFH Looks I Wore Last Week

WFH Outfits

I admit, it’s been hard to pull myself together when I’m not leaving the house these days. But after searching for more ways to stay motived and on a schedule with George and Austin (more on schedules coming later this week), I actually found that if I “get ready” I am more productive. Have you noticed that too?

Now, “getting ready” can mean anything. For me, it’s throwing on jeans (you know, to make sure they still fit), wash my hair, add a little makeup…anything that feels like I have somewhere to go. I tested it out last week and surprisingly felt better, more energetic and just happier. I also got more work done. Not sure if I will keep this up every day of quarantine, but my goal is to try it a few days each week.

Which outfit do you feel like you’d wear while WFH? xx Ashley

MONDAY

This lounge set (on sale at Nordstrom) is almost too comfortable. Anyone who would rather live in their pajamas than wear anything else while they’re at home will love this set. I threw it on with this bodysuit and my favorite slippers. This outfit choice was a nice way to ease into the week. The best part? You can wear this cardigan with jeans or black leggings.

TUESDAY

Tuesdays are always my most productive day. Austin has the morning shift on Tuesdays, so I get more time to work on content, projects and connect with my team. In an effort to try and feel more motivated, I treated my morning like I was going to the office. I got ready, put on makeup and wore an outfit that didn’t involve an elastic waistband. It actually felt nice! I threw on jeans with a bodysuit (this one is so soft — I also bought it in black) and a maxi cardigan to keep it somewhat comfy. Halogen makes the best essentials…especially cardigans.

WEDNESDAY

Cream Jogger Set

I love a good matching jogger set. Even though it’s technically “sweats” it feels a little more sophisticated since it’s matching. You feel me?

THURSDAY

This bodysuit really made its debut this week — I wore it three times! Thursday called for sneakers, a utility jacket, hat and jeans.

FRIDAY

The weather has been starting to really warm up in Dallas and I felt like it was time to pull out some of my summery tops. This Caslon blouse is incredibly comfortable so it still felt good to wear around the house (size down though).

Serious props to you for putting a bodysuit on! I’m slooooowly started to “get dressed” more in the mornings. For a while, I was pretty much staying in my PJs all day while adjusting to this new WFH life.

It’s helps that this one is buttery soft. But really, it was a nice change of pace compared to what the past few weeks have been. I had to mix it up — I was going crazy lol

I tried to wear jeans last week and it really did make an impact on my productivity that day. I set “office hours” and even set up my kitchen table as my desk. It actually helped 🙂

I am a life coach and I teach this to my clients daily! It really does shift the mind into “work mode” and creates the feeling of stability. I love your choices — practical and comfy.
