15 Businesses Owned by Black Women

Black Owned BusinessesToday I want to highlight a handful of women run Black-owned businesses that create and sell a variety of beautiful, high-quality products. While it’s always important to diversify where you shop, it’s more crucial now than ever with a disproportionate amount of Black-owned businesses being negatively affected by Covid-19. The most recently available Federal Reserve data shows that black business owners are denied loans at twice the rate of white owners, so they are more likely to have trouble finding capital to survive the pandemic, among endless other unfair statistics.

Most of these brands I’ve personally shopped and loved but have also discovered some new ones to highlight. If you know of more amazing brands, please share in the comments so we can all check them out! xx, Ashley
