One thing I always miss while pregnant is denim – more specifically, non-maternity jeans, shorts, and the like. Don’t get me wrong, maternity jeans have come a long way (here are they brands I like) and I’m grateful to be pregnant, of course, but buttoning up a good pair of jeans is something I’m looking forward to later this year!
Since spring is when I tend to get excited about new denim trends and when I usually snag a few pairs, I wanted to share my picks. These are the 6 denim pairs and styles (some that I already own and love and some that are new) that I’m into this spring. And that I plan to wear post-bump later this year!
Until then, maternity jeans it is.
DENIM I’D BE WEARING THIS SPRING
AGOLDE Jamie High Rise Classic: These are the jeans I’m wearing in these photos and likely what I’m in in any photos from 2019-2020. They’re definitely my go-to style and worn more than any pair in my closet.
MOTHER Hustler Ankle Fray Jeans: If you want to switch things up from a skinnier style, I love the look of these and how they fit. They’re lightly distressed which gives them a casual feel and the raw hem is on-trend but not too trendy, you know?
AGOLDE Riley High Rise Straight Crop (Distressed): Another favorite style that I’ve had for years now. I have these in both this distressed style and the clean jeans which I’m about to link to next…
AGOLDE Riley High Rise Straight Crop: These are the skinniest silhouette on the list and a great classic, IMO. They’re not skin-tight but still give that clean, classic look.
Modern American Bancroft Tapered Leg Jeans: I like that these are slightly darker and have a lived-in feel to them.
H&M Girlfriend Jeans: I think I’ll snag these for post-partum because they look incredibly comfy! I’m imagining wearing them with heels to give balance to their girlfriend style and you can’t peat the $39.99 price.
