Our Kitchen Details + Dishes

I realized that I haven’t actually ever covered a lot of our kitchen details on the blog so better late than never, right? Today’s breakdown is simple: I’m linking our decor and dishes that we use most often. Let me know if there’s any other area of the house y’all want to see a breakdown for and I’ll work on curating those links.

Hope you have a great weekend!

xx Ashley

DISHES: We’ve had the Gabriella Williams Sonoma set of plates, cereal bowls and snack bowls for a while now and really like them! They’re white and have a little detail but not too much, so I always feel like their pair well with any tablescape I’m going with. We also love the Ceramic Our Place Bowls for more everyday use and honestly I pull for these more so than my matching set.

GLASSES: Alright…as Austin will tell you, I collect glasses at this point. We honestly have too many but I do find that I use them all in some capacity! Plus, I’m a sucker for a pretty glass on our open shelving. I have these Detailed Glasses on our shelves and as you can see from their reviews, they’re nice quality. I also have these similar Old Fashioned Cocktail Glasses from Amazon that are a great deal and chic IMO. I use these Tumblers from Target for iced coffees (with these straws) most mornings or for everyday drinks. We also have these ‘Beer Glasses’ that honestly, we use for beer and SO much more. I love the shape and I know a lot of y’all have bought these too and enjoy them. They’re a versatile everyday option that feels slightly elevated.

Lastly, these are our affordable White Wine Glasses and Red Wine Glasses. Here are our Champagne Flutes which, similar to our wine glasses, are a lot more affordable (and so similar I wasn’t able to tell them apart) from competitors. Then these Ribbed Coupe Glasses are beautiful for fancy cocktails.

SERVING: I have way too much to cover so I figured I’d call out a few popular items that we use often. We have Williams Sonoma Gold Flatware and it’s held up nicely. I can’t find a link to my H&M cakestand since it’s so old but it’s very similar to this one. I use Target’s Carafes (small and large) for serving water or juices.

ACCESSORIES: When it comes to styling our open shelves and our kitchen in general, I wanted to keep things simple. Our marble island is meant to be the focal point of our kitchen and I like to keep it that way, with dainty, simple touches throughout the kitchen. As for art, we have this print framed and also some sketch work that’s similar to this and this. I use an Oversized Wooden Bowl for things like fruit and decor during the holidays.
