I’ve always found it hard to do a winged eyeliner. But recently I’ve been playing around with a few techniques and this is definitely one of the easiest I’ve tried. I love doing this for date night!
The Charlotte Tilbury Feline Flick (from Nordstrom) is fool proof and can be used as a traditional liquid liner or you can soften it up like I do it. It’s also waterproof, so it will give you some all-day wear.
WHAT I USED:
Obsessed. Since I’ve been using a new acne medication (more on that later) my skin has been on the dry side. This foundation is heavenly. It gives you a medium coverage and keeps your skin dewy without looking oily. I LOVE it for days I’m wanting to wear more makeup. I’m in the shade “Cool Ivory”. Nordstrom also carries the Intensive Serum Concealer which I’ve yet to try but it’s on my list. I hear great things.
This is a newer product for me and I was initially intrigued by the 2-in-1 compact. I actually really like this with this brush. The powder is really fine, so it doesn’t feel heavy or make your under eye area look dry. I wear the shade “Ivory”.
I use this cult favorite in the shade Deep for contouring. It’s a beautiful color that creates definitions in the cheekbones, nose and jawline. I use a brush (a lot of the brushes I use are found in that post) to apply then blend with a beauty sponge.
These are the best creamy eyeshadows. They wear all day and do not crease! I’m using the shade “Opal/Golden Pink”.
I know I sound like a broken record with Nudestix, but trust me. They formula is so creamy and wears really well on your skin. You can use as blush or lipstick too. I’m in the shade “Bare Back”.
This is really convenient because you never have to sharpen the pencil (perfect to throw in your purse makeup bag). It draws micro, hair-like strokes to create full brows. I’m in the shade “Universal Dark Brown”.
I’ve had a hard time finding a white liner for the waterline that stayed on all day and actually looked white and bright. The Tom Ford eyeliner in “White Smoke” has been huge win for me. This helps my eyes look more awake, bright and rested. Highly recommend this one!
If you get The Monthly Cut Newsletter, you probably aren’t surprised to see this. I love this liner for an easy wing. Like I mentioned above, you can use this like a tradition liquid liner, or put on a detail brush and smudge it out.
I’m wearing the shade “Hot Gossip”. I like to draw all over my lips, then apply a lighter beige lipstick. I’ve found this helps my lipstick stay on longer throughout the day.
I’m wearing the shade “Idealist” and it’s a really pretty neutral beige with peach undertones. It’s super hydrating and won’t dry out your lips. Use the liner trick I mentioned above for longer wear.
This powder highlight really makes it pop. I wear the shade “03 Pearlescent Glow”.
