Easy DIY Hostess Gifts

Holiday festivities are in full swing and I know we are all so excited to gather with friends and loved ones again. If you have a few parties on your calendar, don’t forget to bring a little something for the hostess. Here’s a few ideas that are easy and quick if you are in a pinch.

Are you hosting this year? xx AR

1. Bringing Wine or your favorite beverage? Try this.

If you are bringing over your favorite bottle of champagne or wine, dress it up with some dried leaves or flowers. Grab some twine or a cotton wine bag  and attach dried flowers, leaves or seasonal greenery. This will make it feel festive and looks gorgeous sitting out on your counter. I attached our Robertson gift tags (code ASHLEYGIFTS is active until Friday) to give it a personal touch.

2. Wrapped Candies or Cookies

If you want to bring over a jar of candies or nuts, try this. My friend Ginger brought this over and it was such a beautiful gift to receive. I didn’t want to open it, ha.  All you need is a mason jar, some tissue, ribbon or twine and dried leaves.

Add the candies and wrap in brown tissue paper. Then use twine, leaves (she did dried oranges) and tie around the lip of the jar.

3. Cutting Board Gift Bundle

This is my personal favorite if you’re needing a gift idea and not sure what to give. If you know the persons aesthetic, pick a coffee table book that matches their vibe. Layer on top of a wooden board (or I like this marble serving tray) with a neutral tea towel. Tie with twine and you are all set.

This is kind of a random question, but do you know what subway tile you used in your kitchen? It looks so different than normal subway tiles and I’m looking for a similar design!
