White is an essential all year long, but especially during Summer. This little top (under $35) could not be more perfect for warmer weather and the crochet details make it so pretty and feminine. I felt like I needed some color so I added these earrings for a pop of color and threw on some light denim.

Striped Boyfriend Blouse
Hi everyone and happy Monday! I know last week I wasn't around too much and that is only because it was the last week of school. If you are a teacher or have friends who are teachers, you only know how crazy it can be! With that being said, I am very excited that Summer is here and I am super excited to work on some exciting projects that have been on hold during these next few months.
Now, let's talk stripes. This is a print that will always be a favorite of mine and if you saw my closet you would know I have a hard time saying no to a striped top. However, this past year, I started cleaning out the things I never wear and really looking for those key pieces that will always be in style and remain a wardrobe staple. Like this Striped Button Down Blouse (similar style here and here) .
When it comes to stripes, I typically buy black and white or navy and white, but this grey/blue and white combo really sold me. The versatility is endless!

Pink Silk Blouse
Over the past year, I've really been trying to invest in wardrobe staples that don't seem to go out of style. As much as I love a silk blouse, they can definitely be hard on the wallet. Equipment is one of my favorite brands for silk pieces, but recently I tried this version from Vince Camuto (and it's under $100!)
Being the sucker that I am for a classic, silk blouse, this was hard to pass up. I love this with shorts, white pants, or these boyfriend jeans. What are some of your favorite brands for silk tops?

Floral Romper
When I think of my Summer wardrobe, I think of easy, light and fun. This Floral Romper (also worn here) fits my typical Summer look so well.
I love the ease of this playsuit. I don't usually wear a lot of rompers, but this one has to be my favorite. The fabric is (somewhat) fitted and I like the structure. It definitely doesn't feel or look like PJ's as opposed to some rompers you may have seen. I've actually worn this quite a few times dressed up with these heels or dressed more casual with these wedges. This playsuit is the perfect solution to brunch, date night, or better yet- girls night!

Stripes & Pink Flats
Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend. It was pouring in Dallas, so with the exception of brunch with my Mom and Sis-In-Law, the day was spent mostly at home inside!
Today I wanted to share a laid back look from last weekend. If you've been reading this blog, you probably have noticed that I love casual outfit. It's not that I don't like to dress up, but I just feel most comfortable in a pair of jeans! Anyone else like that? This striped top (under $20) is one of my favorite basics and I love that it's long enough to be worn with leggings, white pants, or boyfriend jeans like I styled here.
Yosi Samra is one of my favorite retailers for ballet flats, but I was really excited when I got a pair of their Preslie Loafers. These are so comfy and I love the perforated leather. These will be on my feet all summer long!

As we start to transition into Summer, I find myself reaching for more and more of my printed tops and dresses. Palm Print Maxi Dress
Every girl needs a fun maxi dress for summer. Something that you can throw on for any summer bash or a night on the town. This Palm Print Maxi is a favorite of mine. I have always loved Parker and their dresses always are perfect for any occasion.
For starters, I love the fit. Any dress that I can wear a normal strapless bra is a winner for me- I mean, let's be real! The print is playful too and right on trend for Summer.

Daily Makeup & Skincare
I love trying new makeup and skincare products. And if you've been reading for a while, you know I love to try new things! Of course, I have my favorites that I use on a regular basis, but I also look forward to testing new products and sharing reviews with you guys.
These are the products that I am currently using. I have been really impressed with how they make my skin look and feel. My skin hasn't always been the best, so it was always a challenge to find makeup that didn't break me out or cause me to be too oily. These products seem to do the trick and I couldn't be happier!
What do you use on a daily basis?
1. Complexion Rescue Foundation- This foundation is amazing. I used Bare Minerals Loose Powder for years in high school and was thrilled to see they came out with this tinted gel cream. I like that this has a build-able coverage, and it's perfect for days when I want something light. I use a dime size on the smooth foundation brush for light coverage or a nickel size for a heavier look. Either way, it's made a huge difference for my skin!
