Welcome to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020 Sale Guide. The big sale is a little different this year, but it’s still on! I’m starting to put together this year’s guide that will give you all the details on the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020 Early Access dates, catalog download, and a preview of my picks. When is the 2020 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
The 2020 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale dates will start Wednesday, August 19 through Sunday, August 30. However, depending on your Nordy Club access, you can shop the sale as early August 4 during the Early Access period. Early Access enables Nordy Club members exclusive access to the sale before the sale is open to the general public. You can learn more about Nordy Club and cardholder benefits over on Nordstrom. Shopping starts at 9:30am ET / 6:30am PT for each day.

What’s on sale this year?
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is one of the best sales of the year because Nordstrom heavily discounts brand-new, newly released items for Fall. They also discount items that otherwise never go on-sale. As for what will be on sale this year, you can expect brands like Madewell, Vince and Topshop. Check the 2019 catalog for a look at what was on sale last year.

The catalog has not been released yet. Expect an update late-June. This page will be updated once the catalog arrives. You’ll be able to preview the sale on July 24, 2020.

When does Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020 Early Access start?
Depending on your Nordy club status, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020 Early Access dates are Tuesday, August 4, 2020 through Tuesdsay, August 18, 2020. Only Nordy Club cardmembers get to shop the exclusive early access period! The higher your status, the sooner you get to shop. Icon status gets to shop first on August 4 followed by Ambassadors, Influencers, and Insiders statuses.

What is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is probably the best sale among any retailer for the entire year. The sale is one of the only sales where you get deep discounts on new items for the upcoming Fall season, which is very exciting. This sale isn’t the typical “clearance sale” where retailers liquidate last year’s or last season’s inventory. Nordstrom also has the half yearly sales, but the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is by far the biggest sale of the year. I think it’s even better than Black Friday.
This event has become legendary among Nordstrom customers who enjoy outstanding savings on the most exciting new fall merchandise, along with plenty of stuff for summer.
When do your Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020 posts go live?
My 2020 content will go live late July as I preview my picks. I’ll have more posts on August 4 and throughout the month as I shop the sale.
Do I need a promo code for the sale?
No. There is no promo code required. The sale is available to all customers, but some customers will be given exclusive early access to the sale.
Should I shop in-store or online?
The is sale is very popular and the stores will be very busy. I always recommend shopping online for the best selection. In addition to free shipping and free returns, Nordstrom also offers curbside pickup, expedited shipping, same-day delivery (for select areas), and even international shipping.
Where is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale catalog?
Hopefully it arrives soon! I expect it to drop late June.
What is Early Access?
Early Access offers Nordstrom cardholders exclusive access to the sale. Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020 Early Access dates are from August 4 through August 18 before the sale opens to the general public on August 19. It’s the best time ensure the best items are still in stock. If you’re not a cardholder, I recommend it as it has plenty of other perks.
How do I get Early Access?
Early access to the sale is available to all Nordstrom cardmembers automatically. Access is available to all card levels and card types. If you don’t have a card, you’ll need to sign-up for a Nordstrom credit card by August 3. See below.
How do I get a Nordstrom card?
Nordstrom offers two types of cards, the retail card or Visa Signature card. Both cards provide the same Nordstrom benefits, including early access to the sale. However, Visa Signature cardholders will earn additional Nordstrom points with any purchase using the card. Applying is easy and you can start shopping instantly, if approved.
