Grey Neutrals
Equipment has grown to be one of my go to brands for silk basics. I've always heard people rave about The Slim Signature Silk Blouse and I had no idea how good it was until I tried it on my own. The price tag can be a little daunting but once you see for yourself you will quickly realize how great they are. The fit and quality are just a couple reasons why I choose Equipment as my silk blouse of choice.
I picked this fun print up at St. Bernard Sports last week. I loved the print and knew the color would transition well into Fall. I wore it with some white pants to keep the look light and summery but I plan to switch out the white and pair this blouse with some black denim and Tory flats for Fall.

Crochet Details
I've always appreciated a Summery top, especially when it involves crochet detailing. There's just something about lacy tunic that makes me think of Summer. I wore this this little crochet top last week to dinner and it was the perfect solution to these hot temperatures we've been having in Dallas. I am all about light and airy fabrics when its 100 outside! I kept the jewelry pretty minimal and just layered a few Gorjana necklaces and added a pop with this painted bangle by Stacy Brown Designs.

Travel Diaries | Gulf Shores, AL
There's nothing quite like a week with your toes in the sand and sea salt in your hair. I wanted to share a few pictures from our family vacation last week. We stayed in a sweet little beach house right along the water. We usually travel to the Sea Side area in Florida, so this was our first time to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. The weather was great and the water was even better. (to see more of our pictures check out my instagram under #robertsonbeachbums) Until next time!

Boho Tunic
One of my favorite weekend traditions is brunch. It's something my husband and I started doing when we got married, and it has now become a weekend ritual. This past weekend we went to one of our favorite spots in Dallas, The Bishop Arts District and had an amazing brunch at Oddfellows (huge wait so go early). The weather was surprisingly cool so I threw on this boho tunic (or dress if you size up), skinny jeans, and my trustworthy nude pumps. The perfect combo in my opinion!
Wearing: Chic Wish Boho Love Ethereal Dress c/o (FIT: This is actually intended to be a dress, but the small was a little short on me (5 '6) I loved how it looked as a tunic though! If you want it as a dress I suggest size up for length) | Rag and Bone Zip Detail Skinny Jeans (FIT: R&B jeans run small, so I would go one size up from your normal size) | Charles David Pact Pump in Nude | Leather Crossbody (on sale!) | Wanderlust Double XL Spike Cuff in

Mixing Prints
Mixing prints is nothing new, but when it comes to leopard + stripes, I can't help but get excited. The ease of throwing on stripes and mixing it with a bright or bold print always sounds appealing. The best thing about stripes is that pretty much any pattern looks good with it. Whether you go camo, floral, leopard or polka dot, it's all good with stripes.
This striped maxi (another version) is a favorite summer staple of mine. I have literally worn it all summer long since it's perfect for travel, super soft and easy to throw on and go. To mix it up, pair the dress with this bright scarf and these sandals for a casual yet sophisticated look. You really can't go wrong with a classic piece like this!

Beauty Talk | Sun Care
After spending the past 8 days at the beach, I figured it was only fitting to squeeze in a little sun care 101 into this weeks Beauty Talk. For years we have been told to pile on the SPF before heading out into the sun, but have we all followed this rule?
I have to thank my mom (who has great skin I should add) for always making me wear SPF 75+ growing up. Yes, I would roll my eyes because all my friends would spread pure oil on their bodies to get that real golden tan. I always wanted to get that tan. I laugh now, because that is pretty ridiculous and not to mention dangerous. I'm not perfect in this area, but I can say I try my best to take care of my skin and hair when in the sun.
Sun Bum is a skin care brand that I have used and always go back to. My favorite is the Sun Bum Face Stick with SPF 30. It's oil free and hypoallergenic. My face is pretty sensitive, so it was important to find something that wouldn't irritate my skin or cause breakouts. I thought that I needed more than SPF 30 for my face but after attending a few workshops focusing on SPF awareness, I realized it's not necessarily the amount, but how often you apply. You can't just put on your sunscreen in the morning and forget about it for the rest of the day. You have to be conscious to remember to reapply. I take a
Toes in the Sand
Every now and then I can get Austin (my husband) to smile for the camera, but usually, he's the one behind it. I wanted to share a some pictures from last nights sunset shoot. We've been in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach for the last week so it was important to us to document our trip with some good ol' fashion family beach pics (those are coming later).
I really wanted to emphasize the white sand and blue sky, so we kept our outfits very cool and light. I loved wearing this White Cotton Dress and Gladiator Sandals with his Blue Shorts (on sale) and White Linen Shirt. If only we had sunsets like these in Dallas right?
On Him: White Linen Button Down | Target Flat Front Chino Shorts (on sale!) | Old Navy Faux Leather Flip Flops
On Me: White Swing Dress (Fit: runs a little big, size down! Similar version $20!) | Gladiator Sandals | Gorjana Griffin G Set Gold Rings c/o | Bauble Bar Crystal ...
