M&H / Polish Fashion Show

M&H / Polish Fashion Show

Tonight I am excited to share with you some pictures from the Milk & Honey / Polish Fashion Show. Milk & Honey is one of my favorite Dallas boutiques and Polish is an incredible organization connecting professional women to discuss career and faith. When I heard the two were joining forces to host a fashion show, I knew it would be amazing! The night started off with gorgeous flowers by Posh Floral and delicious treats from Society Bakery. Lauren Scruggs was the fashion show emcee and did a beautiful job sharing her story and faith while presenting new trends from Milk & Honey Boutique. It was a great night of fashion, friends and fellowship! If you're in the Dallas area, I invite you to the Polish Luncheon tomorrow from 11:45-12:45 at the Tower Club in Downtown Dallas. Co-Founder & Executive Director, Kat Armstrong, will be discussing the topic "Holding Pattern" and address the hard to answer questions such as, "Are you dating anyone?, How are you not married yet?, What do you want to do next?" She will be speaking about  how to respond to the these kinds of questions. Join Wed. June 4th for practical step-by-step responses to these questions. You will ...

Black + White

Black + White

When it comes to accessories, black and white is an easy win for me. I should probably try to branch out and embrace color more often, but I can't help but fall for classic B/W pieces like these. A few of the items I always like to have on hand include my Chanel Classic Flap Bag, Black Nixon Time Teller, and a little sparkle from Accessory Concierge. If you're thinking about making the jump on investing in a classic bag, I highly suggest Portero. It's no question that they are the best online retailer for luxury vintage bags. Portero offers 100% authenticity on all items from their online boutique and all bags are in beautiful condition. They recently re-vamped their site and unloaded a lot of new bags. Be sure to check it out! Wearing: Joie Silk Blouse | Chanel Classic Flap in Lambskin c/o Portero | Nordstrom Black Shorts | Nixon Black Time Teller Watch | Accessory Concierge

Summer or not, it's safe to say that stripes are easily my favorite. I could wear stripes every single day, starting with this Mott 50 Teresa Dress. This little number is super soft and oh so comfortable! ...

Wardrobe Refresh

Wardrobe Refresh

Summer is on it's way and I couldn't be more excited! Not only do I love the longer days, but I love giving my closet a little "summer refresh" by keeping things easy and cool. That means stowing away the coats and cardigans and bringing out plenty of whites, neutral, and of course fun patterns. My number one way to stay cool in Dallas is a good pair of denim shorts. I have a couple that I always wear simply because they are a staple in my summer wardrobe. For top, I reach for ones that are flowy and breezy like this blouse from Anthropologie and the ever so classic Equipment Signature Blouse. These are both great pieces that get me ready for summer! I try to incorporate colorful jewelry like this Seastone Anthropologie Necklace and pretty bangles from Reece Blaire.  Another sign of summer for me is Bottled Starbucks® Iced Coffee.  It's one of my favorite sweet treats to keep me refreshed and ready to take on the day. I was thrilled to see that Starbucks is now carrying iced coffee! "Bottled Starbucks® Iced Coffee beverages are the perfect blend of premium Starbucks coffee and 2 percent milk. Available in four delicious offerings: Coffee + Milk, Low Calorie Coffee + Milk, Vanilla, and Caramel, Starbucks Iced Coffee ready-to-drink beverages are ...

Blue Maxi Dress

Blue Maxi Dress

A maxi dress is one of my favorite go to looks for summer. It's an easy way to look "put together" without having to put forth too much effort. The Capuchina Maxi Dress from Anthropologie will definitely be a summer staple. This dress is super comfortable and the fabric is so soft- perfect for running errands or a night on the town. What maxi dresses are you loving this summer? Wearing: Anthropologie Capuchina Maxi Dress, comes in black too! Beauty Talk | Clarins Double Serum

Beauty Talk | Clarins Double Serum

Last month, I mentioned the Clarins Giveaway featuring the Double Serum and since then, I have been looking forward to this review! Thank you for all who entered by using the tag #30DaysofBeautiful on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook!  It has been so fun looking through the hashtag pictures and seeing what you all posted. Since my first post introducing the Clarins Double Serum, I have been determined to use this product daily.  Even with my sensitive skin this stuff is super gentle. The serum is pretty concentrated so you only need to use one pump every morning and night. Within the first 7 days of using the Double Serum, I noticed a difference in my skins texture and appearance. My skin looks instantly hydrated and feels amazing. I tend to suffer from the occasional break out, and this stuff helped keep all of that under control. Anything that can hydrate and keep my skin clear is a winner in my book! I look forward to using more of the Clarins products in my daily skin care routine.

Scalloped Lace

Scalloped Lace

Lace is such a huge trend this season. It's feminine and girly and is super versatile. I love this Crochet Version from Our World Boutique. I paired this top with these Floral Pants from Anthropologie because I loved the way the scalloped lace looked against the bright colors on the pants! For an alternative look, I can't wait to pair this top with my distressed denim shorts for an easy summer outfit.    Wearing: Our World Boutique Lily Crochet Blouse c/o | Anthropologie Floral Pants (Ann Taylor Floral Pants Mod Cloth Floral Pants | Nude Pumps (old) Jessica Simpson Nude Pumps, Rachel Roy

Floral + Pink

Floral + Pink

I've been on the hunt for a "Spring" blazer for quite a while. I have a floral one that I wear time to time but I wanted something a little more neutral. When I came across this Joie Pink Blazer, I thought it would be the perfect addition to my Spring wardrobe. As I've mentioned before, a blazer is something every girl should own! It's an easy way to transform any outfit and a fun way to spice up a t-shirt. I paired the blazer with this floral baseball tee from ASOS,  distressed denim and nude pumps. This is my favorite way to dress up a casual look! Wearing: ASOS Floral Baseball Tee (only offered in Petites...so size up!) | Joie Mehira Pink Blazer | J Crew Denim ...
