Hi Everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. If you saw my snaps, you know I took a few days off from posting here while on a work trip in Austin (more details to come August 26th!). I wanted to share a quick look with you all featuring this faux wrap blouse from Nordstrom. This reminded me so much of a blouse I have in denim (seen here). I have worn it countless times and love the shape. I was thrilled to find it in a few more colors. I also love that this blouse is longer in the back (similar to another style I have in white), which makes it versatile to wear with your favorite skinny jeans or leggings. I actually just ordered it in black too! ...

4 Sources for Good Faux Houseplants
One of my favorite memories over the last year is photographing our home and sharing it piece by piece with all of you (check out our black and white office tour). This house was a major labor of love and all the praise we've received for it has blown me away! Of course I can't take all the credit because Ginger from Urbanology Designs is the true mastermind behind it. I'm excited to keep sharing more details, especially as I add small touches here and there to really make it feel like us. I've tried to document as much as I could with the #AshleyAtHome tag on Insta. ...
Holiday Gift Wrapping Inspiration + Free Gift Tags Printable
I hope you guys had a wonderful Thanksgiving! In last week's newsletter, I shared a look at my gift wrapping and our custom holiday gift tags. These are a free printable that you can print at home or any office supply store (I printed mine at FedEx and they were ready same day). I've loved seeing you share the tags with your gift wrapping! ...
Cozy Spring Wrap
It's been a rather chilly spring in Dallas and I've been using every opportunity to wrap up in this soft poncho. I originally bought this wrap to use while traveling with my maternity leggings. It reminds me so much of this Alpaca Wrap (but a fraction of the cost). ...
Faux Fur Obsessed
I'm basically loving all things faux fur. Whether it's sherpa or this pink faux fur coat, I think we can all agree it's having a major moment this season. This mauve color is so playful and I couldn't help but fall in love when I saw Julia wear it earlier this season. It really is a great piece you can dress up or down. I wore this last week with leggings, Golden Goose Sneakers (yes - they are worth every penny but don't miss my post on how to find them discounted) and a white tee. ...
Faux Fur in London
Hello from London! If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I have had a serious faux fur addiction while being here. I mean, with this cold weather you need to do all you can to stay warm! I picked up this Leopard Print Faux Fur Coat from Nordstrom before we left. It is definitely a bit out there for me, but I just love the print and it's incredibly soft and warm. ...
Faux Shearling Biker Jacket
Ah—I love a good moto jacket. And when I found this faux shearling version, I knew it would be a fun option to add to my collection. And yes, it's incredibly soft and cozy. ...
The Best Faux Fur Coat
We spent this past weekend in Arkansas at Harding University (our Alma Mater) celebrating Caroline's graduation. We documented parts of our trip down memory lane on our Instagram Stories (I just added them to the "highlights") and I couldn't believe how many of you also went or currently go to Harding. Such a small world! I love getting to make connections with you guys. ...
Faux Fur Vest
My faux fur dreams came true when I saw this fun vest from Dawn Levy. I don't own any outwear like this, but when I saw it, I could not pass it up (especially now that it's on sale).
The details on this vest make quite the statement, so it was important for me to keep everything else pretty simple. I threw on my black leggings (these are so slimming!) and favorite suede booties (on sale) and loved how they looked with this oversized vest. I also have been wearing this Black Watch by Timex non stop. I love the idea of wearing this not only to the gym, but also with casual outfits. I always get compliments on it (and it's under $75)!
After posting this on snapchat a few weeks ago, many of you asked how I would wear it. There really are a lot of fun ways you can wear this piece. However, it is a statement, so if you don't usually wear bold pieces like this, you may want to keep everything else pretty simple. I love the idea of pairing it with distressed skinny jeans, a white ...
The Wrap Jacket
About a year ago, I was introduced to the sweet Morgan Hunt from A Treasure Hunt. Since then, I have enjoyed keeping in touch with her through social media and various Dallas events. I have especially loved watching Morgan launch her new clothing brand, Morgan James. Last August, I went to her fall preview and was amazed at her beautiful collection. Not only does Morgan have an eye for fashion, but each piece is proudly made in the USA!
This Wrap Jacket immediately caught my eye when I first saw her collection. It's a timeless piece, yet has a contemporary vibe with a draped front. The leather at the shoulder adds a nice touch too! Morgan doesn't want you to miss out on all the fun. She is offering all TTD readers 30% with code TEACHER30. This promo will last through 12/24. Be sure to check out her shop here!
