12 Budget-Friendly Dresses That You Need to See

Is anyone else loving what's coming out of H&M lately? I'm personally really into their inventory right now and love how their prices always feel fair on the wallet. Especially when it comes to their Summer 2020 dress situation, I'm kinda loving it all. From the puff sleeve trend to easy pieces to throw on for mom life, here are 12 dresses that you need to see. Oh, and even if you don't end up buying anything, head to their site for great styling inspiration (I'm liking Mango for styling inspo as well). ...

How to Spruce Up Your Home Without Renovating

How to Spruce Up Your Home Without Renovating

Building a home was one of the most rewarding (exhausting, but rewarding nonetheless) experiences, especially since we finished up in time to bring George home to it. But there's something really fun about having a fixer-upper or a home that just needs a good polish. I've lived in spaces like this before and even now I'm always thinking up little projects here and there. Whether it's with seasonal decor, a small painting project or throwing down a new rug, there are endless ways to spruce up a space without having to break out the sledgehammers. ...

10 Oversized T-Shirts I’m Into

10 Oversized T-Shirts I’m Into

Let's just say a quick 'thank you' to whoever brought oversized t-shirts back into style, shall we? They've been my go-to shirt this year, partially due to quarantine life at home and partially because I love them with the biker shorts trend. I seem to live and sleep in them and I'm not sure I'll ever give them up. If you're into the style, here are 10 that I'm into, most at very affordable price points. I tend to size up in these styles. ...

George’s 1-Year Update

George’s 1-Year Update

This year has been incredibly fast -- I honestly can't believe George is one (actually 14 months, but you get the idea). I wanted to share some updates and answer questions I get asked often. ...

Helpful Graphics to Share With Your White Friends and Family About Racism, Privilege and Equality

Helpful Graphics to Share With Your White Friends and Family About Racism, Privilege and Equality

Source: @ohhappydani Something I've learned over the last few weeks is that one of the main reasons white people, myself included, do not like to talk about racism, privilege and equality with our friends, family and peers is because it's uncomfortable. And a message I've really taken away from the Black community recently is that if we ever want to help create change, we have to get comfortable with the uncomfortable. ...

July Mood: What I’m Eyeing This Month

July Mood: What I’m Eyeing This Month

Hey there – happy July! Summer is in full force here in Texas (though June was a lot more pleasant than usual) and it has me craving light, airy neutral pieces. And since I can't seem to quit the trend, I threw in a still-neutral Tie Dye T-Shirt I'm eyeing. See those and everything else I'm into this month above. If you missed June's Mood Board, you can see that here. I hope you have a great month! xx Ashley ...

Top-Rated Black Bike Shorts

Top-Rated Black Bike Shorts

If you can't tell from my rotating bike shorts outfits, I'm very much into the trend. It's basically the summer legging and at this point, I'm more than happy to grab a pair of bike shorts, an oversized t-shirt, and call it a day. Since I know the trend can be intimidating and a bit tricky to navigate, I wanted to find the absolute best options. Depending on if you're pregnant and want something comfy, aren't looking to spend much, or want a top-rated flattering pick, there should be a good option here. ...

Sugar-Free Spicy Margarita Recipe

Sugar-Free Spicy Margarita Recipe

Austin and I love a good margarita moment. And if it's spicy, that's even better in our book. This spicy marg recipe has been a nice treat during these summer months. I actually made these for our friends and they couldn't believe they were sugar-free. Usually, I am not a fan of mixers. I find them overly sweet and typically they taste really "artificial". But a TTD reader told me about Swoon mixers (zero sugar zero cals) and encouraged me to order the Margarita mixer. For a low-carb and zero sugar drink, we were impressed. It's made from Monk Fruit (a melon native to Southeast Asia that has natural sweetness) and has zero calories and carbs. We've been cooking with Monk Fruit for a while since starting F Factor, and it's the closest thing to sugar that we've tasted (unlike Splenda or Stevia). It took Austin a minute to get used to it, but I liked it right away. I've already bought a few bottles to share with the family over 4th of July weekend. ...
