Grey Knit Cardigan

Grey Knit Cardigan

We all have those days. The time when you look in your closet and you think to yourself I have nothing to wear!  While that is far from true, it can be hard to find the energy to come up with a new look or try and mix and match prints. When I'm feeling this way, I reach for my favorite basic pieces. This cardigan is one that I find myself wearing all the time. Whether it's to work, running errands, or to throw on over leggings, its a wardrobe staple!     Shop the Post: Lookbook Store Grey Knit Cardigan (Wearing size US 4) | J Crew Distressed Boyfriend Jeans (go a full size down) similar here and here | White Layering Tee | Pact Nude Pumps | Clare V Leopard Clutch | Karen Walker Sunglasses | MK Watch | David Yurman Bracelet | Lips MAC ...

Plaid Cardigan

Plaid Cardigan

Tis the season for festive colors and holiday sweaters. Am I right? Now, I'm not usually one for the whole "Christmas Sweater" look, unless of course it's to a party, but I do believe there's a nice way to spice up your look to give it a "holiday" vibe.  This plaid cardigan (only $23!) was the perfect compromise. I love the waterfall in the front and the length in the back. I can't wait to wear this with leggings and Uggs next to the fire tomorrow night! I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas! Shop the Post: Sheinside Plaid Check Cardigan (wearing the "one size", fits like a small or xs // Many of you email me about ordering international, while that can be scary, I have ordered from SheInside many times and have had zero issues. They make it easy and I love their products. Just pay attention to sizing, it can be tricky!)  | J Crew Cotton Long Sleeve Tee | Joes Slim Boyfriend Jeans (if in-between sizes, size down) | SJP Fawn Pumps | Chanel Classic Flap c/o Portero Luxury | Red Lips-

Waterfall Cardigan

Waterfall Cardigan

If there's one item in my closet I love, it's a great cardigan. Maybe it's the teacher in me, but investing in a good cardigan will get you through multiple seasons and will definitely give you plenty of options when it comes to outfits.  Due to the hot temps in Dallas, a lightweight cardigan is a must. This waterfall version from Goodnight Macaroon is a practical solution to achieve a layered look- even in the Summer! I kept it neutral with a cream tank, but it could easily be paired with a pop of color. This is something that I will be wearing quite often! Wearing: Goodnight Macaroon White Cardigan | Nordstrom White Cami (size up!) | J Crew Denim (similar style) | Blair Ritchey PAK in Olive Gator c/o | Nude Pumps (another version here!) | Michael Kors Slim Runway Watch | Gorjana Griffin Kyle Bow Necklace c/o | Maya Brenner Initial Gold Necklace | Jeweliq Pearl Ring (I love this style too!) | Bauble Bar

Holiday Sweater Cardigan

Holiday Sweater Cardigan

I love a good cardigan. Being a teacher, that probably doesn't surprise you, but I love to wrap myself in a cozy sweater or cardi. Typically, I try to find cardigans that are long enough to wear leggings or those really skinny jeans. I also like them to be a tad oversized. Obviously, it was easy for me to fall in love with this Holiday Sweater Cardigan from Shop Bella C. It's so soft and perfect to throw on when going out and about. With the temperatures constantly changing in Dallas, I want pieces that will be easy to throw on and layer. Can't wait to wear this throughout the season! WEARING: SHOP BELLA C Holiday Sweater Cardigan | H&M Gray T-Shirt (old) | JCREW Denim (similar) | FOREVER 21 Nude Heels (similar

5 Shoe Styles We Are Seeing Everywhere (and will continue to wear in 2024)

5 Shoe Styles We Are Seeing Everywhere (and will continue to wear in 2024)

It's definitely been the year of flats, and I have zero complaints. We've seen ballet flats to retro sneakers become quite popular again in 2023. Some would argue that they've always been popular, but as of late, it seems these styles are in demand more than most. I've curated a selection that I believe will remain well-liked in 2024. And even if you're typically a devoted fan of heels, the picks below may just inspire a change of heart. Surprisingly, the variety of stylish flat shoe options is more extensive than one might expect. ...

Black Friday Sales Worth Shopping (and what’s in my cart)

Black Friday Sales Worth Shopping (and what’s in my cart)

Cyber Week is honestly one of the most overwhelming weeks when it comes to sales, so I'm making it easy and sharing the places I shop and a few things currently in my cart.  For clothing, I have this striped sweater and this pink feather dress (this feels a little out of my norm but love with silver heels for a party  in my cart. I also bought the kids these Magnatiles, they are obsessed. I also have these pink wine glasses on my wishlist. If you need a hostess gift, get the Hotel Lobby Candle in Holiday — the absolute best candle and no headaches. What are you shopping for? xx Ashley ...

2 Coats You Need To Know About

2 Coats You Need To Know About

It's always about this time each year I start my Fall/Winter coat search. I look through roughly 100-ish options and buy several to try-on at home. Then, I narrow it down to 3 or 4 that I want to keep. All in the name of research, right? Finding the right kind of outerwear is key for a well rounded closet. Especially if you are like me and tend to dress  more.. basic. I'm still searching for a cream coat, but in the meantime, here are two that I want to share with you. ...
