I always like when I have the opportunity to try new products. You really don’t know what works best until you give it a shot right? Well, I was recently introduced to a few new products that have me hooked. The Complexion Rescue by Bare Minerals, is one of my new favorites for every day. I was actually a little apprehensive to try this, only because I usually like a little more coverage in my foundation. To my surprise, this has a really nice, medium coverage. I had a little sample that I used during my trip to New York and was amazed at how long my makeup stayed on. I loved it so much that I went to buy more last night! Studies have shown that this foundation not only acts as a moisturizer, but it improves skin hydration drastically. I also love that it has SPF 30…major plus! I also use the Bare Skin Powder to set the look.
I have never been huge fan of eyelash curlers, they scare me a little, but that all changed when I found this one by Shiseido. I have read tons of reviews and people seem to love this eyelash curler. I would never spend 20 bucks on something like this, but after reading so many positive comments, I decided to give it a try. I am so impressed! It really works better than I imagined and I have noticed an immediate difference. I’m pretty sure that this Lancome Mascara has a lot to do with it. I have always used the regular Hypnose version, but I decided to give Hypnose Drama a try. It will now be my mascara of choice. Amazing!
My lips always seem to stay dry during winter, but I use Fresh Scrub to keep my lips soft. Soft lips are a must when wearing NARS. They make the best lip glosses and I love to use ‘Turkish Delight’ as an everyday pink.

How do you apply the bare minerals? With a brush. Many people seem to use the little wedge/sponge. Just curious. Thanks!

Thank you for your question. On the package it says to use your fingers, but a makeup artist for Bare Minerals told me she starts with fingers then uses the smoothing face brush to blend. I love the brush because it really makes your skin look so smooth. It easy to clean too. Hope that helps!
