Happy Monday! This past weekend Austin and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary. One week late, but the actual anniversary weekend was much too busy to actually enjoy and celebrate this special occasion. Austin and I decided on no gifts and to just do some fun things around the city to celebrate. Gotta love 3-day weekends! When the time came to hand over our cards, Austin looked suspiciously giddy. I should have known something was up. When I opened my card, I saw a hand sketched drawing of a Sandals resort…surprise we are going to Sandals! This is when I cried, screamed and praised Austin for his incredible drawing skills. Turns out the first “traditional” gift for an anniversary is paper. A pair of plane tickets to the beach will do us just fine if I do say so myself. I am so excited. We went to Sandals St. Lucia for our honeymoon and had a blast…I can’t wait to try out another resort. Of course I am already on the lookout for some great pieces to take along! Resort or not, here are some great summer picks! Enjoy!!
