Pink & Gold

20150104-IMG_4229

If you were to peek in my closet, you would find an overwhelming assortment of creams, blacks, and stripes. Pretty boring right? Sure it’s easy to mix and match, but I needed to step out of my comfort zone. While I like love neutrals, I wanted to branch out and try adding a little more color into my wardrobe.  This Pink Cocoon Coat (only $45) was the perfect compromise. The texture is so soft and I love the feminine details. I could not pass up on those gold buttons! The girly pink was just what I needed to brighten up my closet. Have a great Tuesday! xx

Shop the Post: SheInside Pink Cocoon Coat (under $50 // Wearing a Small) Note*** Many of you ask about the quality of products from SheInside and I have to say that I have had a positive experience ordering from them. I’ve ordered 5 separate times and only once did I have an issue (and that was because I didn’t pay attention to the size guide– my fault!) Just keep in mind, shipping takes a while, so be patient 😉 *** | J Crew Boyfriend Jeans (extra 40% off with code STYLE2015 // size down, they run big) | Equipment Slim Signature Silk Blouse (TTS, wearing a small) | Charles David Nude Pumps | Gigi New York Teddie Tote color Stone c/o | Sunglasses (under $10) | Brandy Pham Ring c/o | David Yurman Bracelet | Lips- MAC “Snob” (my favorite pink lippy) | Makeup- Anastasia Contour Kit (see how I use it here)

I need to branch out as well. I feel like all I ever want to buy are whites and blacks. You inspire me every day to step out of my comfort zone! And let’s talk about this coat…how can it be $45!? Amazing!!!

Ashley, I love following you! I don’t know how you do while being a teacher but more power to you! I bet your students were so happy to see you today. Have a great week back at school and stay warm! I hear Dallas is supposed to get snow…crazy!

I am a sucker for anything pink. I love the coat paired with distressed boyfriend jeans to balance out the feminine color of the coat. Your side braid is perfect!. Your NYE make up tutorial inspired me to try a side braid as well. Your entire look is always flawless.

I love the coat! The coat looks fitted in your photos but the coat on the model looks baggy. Can you let me know if it’s fitted?

      Hi Tep,

Thank you for your comment. Yes, I have to agree with you! It doesn’t look anything like it does on the model. It’s not “fitted” or tight, but it’s not near as baggy as the way they have it styled. When buttoned, it still has some wiggle room. I am wearing a small. I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any more questions. Thank you for reading! xx

This is so beautiful! I’ve ordered once from SheInside and had no problems either. You’re right though, I feel like shipping took forever, but I loved my scarf and cape!
