It’s no secret I love a shirtdress. If you’ve been following my blog or instagram for a while, you’ve probably noticed that I wear them frequently. I can’t help but love the classic style!
This shirtdress is an easy option for me because I can wear it to meetings or brunch with girlfriends. And how cute is the navy ribbon detailing? I kept this look office friendly with my scalloped flats, but I love the idea of pairing it with a block heel. If you haven’t tried the block heel style, I highly suggest it. I’m personally very excited that this trend is in full force because they are actually very comfortable. I have this pair and wore them all throughout NYFW.
I’ve worn this dress several times since purchasing at Nordstrom, but I did want to share that it tends to wrinkle a little easier than most. I loved the dress too much so I was determined to find something to keep it from wrinkling. I used a little fabric starch before ironing and that seemed to do the trick. While it’s naturally going to wrinkle a little, that helped keep it looking crisp and smooth.
