It’s no secret I want glowy, hydrated skin. Aside from skincare (which is most important IMO) the best way to achieve glowy skin is when you mix foundation with a liquid highlighter. I love the Valentino Beauty V-Lighter in Rosa for that glowy foundation look and I knew I had to test it out when I saw it had over 2.4K reviews.
It’s a liquid, pearly pink highlighter that can be used alone under makeup, mixed in with foundation, or on top to highlight areas you want to really pop. It is honestly gorgeous!
A liquid highlighter is one of those versatile products that everyone needs in their beauty bag. Especially with cooler temperatures around the corner, my skin always gets a little dry. This product helps me “fake it till I make it” if you will.
Here’s how I apply:
1/2 a pump of the Valentino Beauty V-Lighter in Rosa
1/2 pump of my favorite foundation or tinted moisturizer
mix the two on the back of my hand
Then, I just dot the product on my face with my finger and blend with my foundation brush. I like to go in with a damp beauty sponge (w/ no product on it) and just press into my skin to ensure everything looks seamless.
I ordered the liquid highlighter at Nordstrom and also bought a few other Valentino Beauty products that I will also be reviewing later. But I can see why people love the brand. The products are on the pricey side, but the color payoff is 10/10. Also, how gorgeous is this lipstick? I’m wearing shade 123R Falling For Nude.
