HIGHLIGHTS FROM 2016

Happy New Year! After taking a few days off, I am back and anxious to get in the swing of things. With new year goals fresh on my mind, I wanted to take a moment and reflect on some of my favorite memories of 2016.  It was an exciting year of travel, new beginnings, and challenges. I look forward to what 2017 will bring!

CELEBRATING 4 YEARS OF MARRIAGE

Austin and I celebrated our 4th year of marriage in March. What a blessing these past 4 years have been!  I am so thankful for our friendship and love. You can see more from our wedding here.

OUR TRIP TO PARIS

This was definitely a highlight for Austin and I! I’ve always dreamed of traveling to Paris and our trip was everything I hoped it would be. It truly is an incredible city. You can see more pictures and our Paris travel guide here!

WORKING WITH MY MOM

This year I had the opportunity to work on a few collaborations with my Mom. It was so much fun getting to shoot photos and work together. She makes me laugh everyday and is such an inspiration!

GETTING A PUPPY

If you’ve followed my blog or pinterest for a while, you know I have a thing for French Bulldogs. This past May, Austin surprised me with the sweetest (and most stubborn!) little puppy, Lucy. She is a bundle of energy and cuddles. We love her so much!

A WEEKEND GETAWAY IN CHARLESTON

I’ve always wanted to go to Charleston and this year we made it happen. Austin was traveling up there for work and I met him up there for the weekend. It was such a fun trip and one of my favorite cities. If you’re planning a trip, be sure to check out our Charleston Travel Guide.

OUR FAMILY DISNEY TRIP

We don’t get to take too many trips as a family now that we are all married or in school, so it was very special to get to go to California this past week to visit my grandparents and take a trip to Disney. We had a great time! You can get my disney outfit details here. 

OUR HOME REVEAL

What a relief it was to finally finish decorating our home! I knew it wasn’t going to be an overnight process, but it was nice to be done. We shared our home tour last January. We’ve made a few little changes throughout the year, but love the overall feel!
