Our Stay at The Berkeley London

My trip to The Berkeley London

Last month, many of you know we spent some time in London to work on a project with Visit Great Britain. We shared details about our experience and activities in our Things to do in London post, but many of you wanted to know where we stayed. The Berkeley was the perfect hotel to experience the London culture.

The 5-star hotel is located in Knightsbridge and close to Hyde Park and Sloane Street. It is a prime area for shopping and sightseeing (without being bombarded with tourists). However, if you chose to stay in, The Berkeley has some great amenities.

It is home to the legendary designer afternoon tea, Prêt-à-Portea, which is inspired by the themes and colors of the fashion world. The menu of delicacies with a fashionista twist is transformed every six months to follow the changing seasons in fashion. During our stay, we were able to enjoy this tradition alongside Jane Lewis of Goat Fashion and Samantha Conti of WWD. If you are in London, you do not want to miss out on Prêt-à-Portea.

If you are looking to grab a drink, be sure to head downstairs to the Blue Bar. This is one of London’s most sought-after destinations known for the most colorful cocktails in town. This was a cozy little spot to spend some time before heading off to dinner at OXO Tower.

Oh gosh, I love that suede jacket! I think I’ve heard of this hotel before, it looks lovely and as a Brit, perfect for special occasions.
