Happy almost Friday, friends! Many of you know we just got back from a week at the beach with the Robertson crew this past Sunday and boy was I in need of a little digital detox. Might sound intimidating but honestly, it was amazing to have zero screen time for 2 days and take a break from social media. How often do you unplug? I am considering writing a little post about my detox experience and if you have any suggestions, let us know below and I’ll add them in the blog post!
During our trip to 30A, I wore this linen suit blazer & shorts and it was easily one of my favorite outfits from the week. Linen is such a quintessential fabric for summer and this little linen set is easy to wear and the neutral color makes it versatile to mix different tops underneath. I know linen can get a bad rap for getting *very* wrinkled and yeah, I was a little hesitant traveling with this set. But one tip I’ve picked up over the years is to hang up your clothes as soon as you can. Another thing we do is when we shower, I hang the clothes up in the bathroom and the steam helps relax any wrinkles if you didn’t pack a steamer. I tried that with this and it worked like a charm.
I have to mention this bodysuit, which I talked about on Instagram stories, and it is hands down the best. It’s figure flattering and looks great layered under blazers, cardigans and moto jackets. I found it to run true to size and it’s under $35! Love when I find pieces like this.
Thanks for stopping by! xx Ashley
