Trend Alert: The Dad Sneaker

After spending the past week in NYC, there was one trend I was happy to partake in: the dad sneaker. Now don’t get me wrong, I was hesitant at first to jump on board with the chunky, white sneaker straight out of the 90s. But as you know, the 90s trends are back and if there’s one thing we can agree on, sneakers are quite comfortable.

This pair is from the new Nordstrom x Nike pop up and works for both athleisure and style. I wear them with leggings to walk Lucy around the block or with a midi dress or satin skirt to grab lunch with Austin.

Personally, I prefer white or muted colors but the bright, bold colors (these are one of the best selling Nike sneakers at Nordstrom) are also quite popular.
