What I'm Wearing to Thanksgiving | The Teacher Diva: a Dallas Fashion Blog featuring Beauty & Lifestyle

We are packing our bags and getting ready to head out for Thanksgiving. I am so excited! This year we are doing our usual Hopkins house for lunch and Robertson house for dinner, but we decided to extend our stay and spend a few extra nights with each family. We typically play games, go to the movies, bake — it’s a good time for all!

This year, I am keeping it casual and wearing this plaid coat (now on sale) for Thanksgiving. Since we will be traveling between homes, it’s nice to be comfortable.

I just submitted my last deadline and am officially about to close my computer and start my holiday. Though this is an incredibly busy time of year for us, I just don’t think it’s worth taking away time from family on the holiday. We’ve spent the past few days vigorously working on Black Friday content allowing us to fully enjoy Thanksgiving Day (thank you brands for giving us a heads up) with all of our families.

If you are one that loves a good sale, all of my Black Friday content will go up on here Friday morning at 5:00 am CST.

Here’s my Black Friday promise: 1. I will not overwhelm you with every sale under the sun. No one has time for that. 2. I am only sharing the sales I find worthwhile and actually valuable. And 3. A few of the places I’m sharing only do sales once maybe twice a year — so it might be worth checking out.
