We have been feeling so many emotions these past few months. The excitement of our new baby, the anxiety of getting everything “ready” (but are you really ever ready?) and the joy of embracing the new change that will be happening next month.
And though we’ve kept the gender between family, it’s exciting to now share with everyone that
we are having a precious baby boy. Austin and I are beyond thrilled! We have been praying for this baby for quite some time now and couldn’t feel more proud to be his parents.
We snapped these photos a few weeks ago when Austin was hanging our light fixture and installing curtains for the nursery. Mary was over helping me shoot for a campaign and I asked her if we could snap a few photos of the nursery…mess and all. I wanted to remember these moments of pure excitement (and chaos) as we prepared for our little one.

Congrats! And from what I see I love the decor around the nursery, I love how you went for a more neutral approach, no offense to anyone reading but I really don’t like it when people go with everything blue for boys and everything pink for girls, it’s cheesy and very uninspiring.
