Back to School is in full swing. And as I step back into the classroom, I am thrilled to be partnering with Nine West for a new school year. Today, I am sharing with you a behind-the-scenes look of my “home away from home” and how I stay chic in my classroom!
As most of you know, I love to dress up. But when it comes to teaching (and being on my feet all day), comfort is key. These Nine West Leopard Smocking Sippers immediately caught my eye. I knew they would be a pair that would work so well in the classroom and on the weekend.
If you step in to my room, you will first notice the bright and colorful atmosphere. I make it a priority to keep my classroom looking exciting and engaging for my students. I want them to feel happy and eager to learn when they come in each morning!
One of the best parts of my job is that each day is different. Sure. There is the structure. And we always have to follow a schedule. But the lessons, the interactions, and students’ goals change from day to day. It’s exciting and challenging all at the same time!
In my 5 years of teaching, I have learned a few things: No matter what, the show must go on; Always have a plan B; and a cute pair of shoes can get you through the day!
To see more of my look, be sure to check out Nine West + the Nine West Tumblr over the next few days and shop some of my favorite shoes for Fall!

Just discovered your blog! This must be the most organized classroom I’ve ever come across! So tidy. Please do more “organization posts.” I have 3 kids at home who are very messy. I really dislike clutter and toys scattered all over the house! Drives me insane. And having one daughter with high functioning Autism who loves collecting and creating the smallest little items, and trying to keep it away from my toddler has been very challenging. I love the fact that you are NOT JUST a fashion diva, but have a solid educational background behind you. So refreshing. Love your blog…. and outfits!
