Leather tote bags have been a staple for many handbag designers for the last several years. The tote is easily one of my most used bags simply because it holds everything! I use my Louis Vuitton Never Full and Gigi New York Teddie Tote on a regular basis but I was excited to introduce this Rebecca Minkoff Unlined Leather Tote to the mix.
From lipsticks, iPhone, planner, notebook, keys, to gum wrappers– the list of items in my handbag seem to be forever growing. This Leather Tote does the trick just fine and still leaves room for any other goodies I can manage to fit in there.
First, let’s talk about the two toned leather. How gorgeous is that silvery-gold inside?
These Yosi Foldable Flats (more colors here) are a life savor…or feet savor I should say. I have about 7 pairs and I would wear them while teaching or even on the weekends if we were going to be walking a lot. They are very comfy and conveniently fold up into that little pouch. I always have a pair with me or in the car, just in case my feet get tired from wearing heels!
In my bag you will always find some type of notebook and calendar. (I know, I know- you are probably thinking I should use my phone for my calendar and I do for family stuff, but for work, it’s much easier for me to write it down and see it in print. Am I crazy?)
I always carry an extra battery for my iPhone and this battery is the best I’ve tried. It’s under 30 bucks and it will allow you to fully charge your phone twice before having to charge the batter again. (Thanks Austin for finding that for me!)
Who am I kidding I love to snack. KIND Bars are one of my favorites next to LARA Bars. They taste good and you can actually understand what it’s made out of.
I always carry a little makeup bag of some sort and fill it with the little things I find myself using throughout the day. This Monogrammed Makeup Bag is custom made at Ellis Hill in Highland Park. I love this company and think they make the best personalized accessories, paper goods, or linens in Dallas.
I always carry hand cream. I have used Ahava for years and it is amazing. My hands tend to get really dry and this helps big time.I am not too crazy about the smell, but it fades rather quickly and does not compete with my Beach perfume by Bobbi Brown.
This Powder Compact from YSL is light and works great as a touch up later in the day.
The ultimate multi-tasker is this On-The-Glow Blush and Illuminator by Wander Beauty. I just started using this and love how it works. I use the pink for blush or lipstick and then the highlighter looks great as an eyeshadow base, on the cheekbone to highlight or for a nude lip. It’s definitely convenient for the girl on the go!
