Each year during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, I always look forward to the Beauty Exclusives. I don’t know what it is about buying makeup and skincare, but I always get so excited to try and review the products.
This year, I limited myself to only a few beauty purchases. It’s easy for me to get carried away, so I tried to stick with the products I either have tried and loved, or ones that I wanted to add to my beauty bag.
Here are a few of my favorites!
I’m always a fan of the MAC kits featured during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. This year, I felt like I would actually use every product included in the Sunblessed Nude lip & Eye Kit. The eyeshadow is a pretty brown/plum color that looks great in the crease. I usually keep things pretty natural for day to day, but this looks nice for a night out or something a little more dramatic.
The Lipstick “Sunblessed” is gorgeous! My go-to color is always a pinky-nude, and this is just that. It’s moisturizing and has a nice sheen to it. It’s a great color for everyday.
I’m no stranger to the False Lashes Mascara and I honestly forgot how much I loved this mascara. It’s been a while since I’ve used it, but I’m glad I was able to try it again in this kit. It give dramatic, bold definition, without flaking.
I’ve also used the gel eyeliner several times in the past. This is a great product and is really versatile. I would say that it’s important to use a good brush with gel eyeliners. It really makes all the difference with how thick you want your liner to be.
I was pretty excited to see this was on the sale. I actually already had the Brow Pomade and Clear Brow Gel from a previous purchase, but I thought it would be helpful to share a little review on this popular duo.
So, I love ABH. I am a sucker for the Liquid Lipsticks and have tried several brow & contouring products from her line. This Brow Pomade is great. It sweat proof, easy to blend, and this little container will last you for at least a year. My only issue with this product was that, if you’re not careful, it can look “over done”. Totally user error on my part but I’m sad to say I’ve made that mistake a few times. Anyways, it is a great product and price point for those wanting to experiment with brows. Just note, a little goes a long way. I wear the shade “Soft Brown”.
The Clear Brow Gel is also great for setting your brows. This also works for fly aways on the top of your hair. Who knew right?
I was thrilled to see that neuLASH was included in the sale this year. You guys know how much I love this stuff (and have talked about it several times on the blog & snapchat). I highly recommend this product for lashes. I believe in it and have seen real results! If you are new to trying this, know that it will take a solid month (maybe two) before you notice actual results. I know that is annoying, but once you stick with it you will start noticing longer, fuller lashes.
I have had this tube for about 6 months now, and I am just starting to run out. I use it at night and only dip the brush in the tube once for both eyes. A little goes a long way, so no need to dip twice. I even brush the leftovers on my brows.
Speaking of brows, has anyone tried the neuBROW? It’s sitting in my cart right now and I am so tempted to buy it. I’ve been using the neuLASH on my brows too and find it works, so I’m not sure if I need both products.
This little set was on the sale last year, and I was happy they brought them back for another year. I ended up purchasing a few sets this time around with the intention of gifting them at Christmas or birthday celebrations. These candles smell so good!
Last year, I scooped up the Clarisonic Mia 2 and it has been the best investment for my skin. I use it once a day, in the morning, and love how soft it makes my skin feel. It removes any extra traces of makeup and cleans your skin 6 times deeper than your hands alone.
This year, I got the pink Mia Fit and love the smaller, lightweight design. This is perfect for travel or to throw in my gym bag. It also has two settings, for delicate and deep cleansing. Highly recommend this tool!
You may remember my recent snapchat video where I shared my review on the GLAMGLOW Youthmud Mask (the black tube). Well, I’m excited to share that the GLAMGLOW Glazing Supermud Set is included in the sale this year. They actually have two versions, this and the GLAMGLOW Glazing Gravitymud Set.
This set is great for oily/combination skin. My skin suffers from occasional breakouts and the Supermud Clearing Mask (the white pot) is AMAZING for spot treatments. It’s very strong, so I don’t put it all over my face. I just use it on my nose and cheeks (the areas that breakout most). I will even use it as a spot treatment before bed and sleep with it on.
This is a great product to add to your skincare regimen!
