Shopping for Pre-Loved Luxury

Happy Friday, friends!  Today, I am very excited to introduce you to one of my favorite stores for vintage handbags, accessories and clothing: Vestiaire Collective. A question that I often get asked is where to shop for vintage or gently worn handbags.  Like many of you, I like to invest in handbags. However, before shopping the department store, I always check to see if I can find a pre-loved version at a more reasonable price. That’s actually how I found out about Vestiaire Collective. After doing more research, I discovered they are one of the leading marketplaces for pre-loved luxury fashion. I ended up purchasing my Celine Box from them last Christmas and have since been a fan of their customer service and inventory selection.

Though Vestiaire Collective is based in France, they ship all over the world. Being in the United States, I  prefer shopping the “Ready To Ship” section because the shipping is quick and easy. My Chanel Classic Flap arrived in a week (I was very impressed with how quick it arrived!) and my other items shortly after.

If you’re looking to invest in a vintage piece, I highly recommend browsing brands like, Louis Vuitton and Chanel. In my opinion, they have the largest selection and are always getting in new inventory. I linked below a few popular items that are current available for sale on their site.

With the holiday’s coming up, this is a great place to keep in mind for gifts (my friends and I have joked that gift cards here, no matter what amount, are more than welcome). Hey, every little bit helps, right? I may just have this Louis Vuitton Crossbody on my wish list!
