My Trip to #CampCourtlyCheck with MacKenzie-Childs

Growing up, I have always been fascinated with MacKenzie-Childs. I was familiar with the popular Courtly Check collection and loved the classic black and white pattern. Earlier this month, I had the opportunity to visit the beautiful MacKenzie-Childs headquarters. This was my first trip to Aurora, New York and I can not wait to go back.

During our time in New York, we stayed at The Inns of Aurora at the E.B Morgan House. This was the most relaxing and quaint experience. With gorgeous views of the lake and countryside, what’s to love! A lot of you messaged me about the inn and I highly recommend staying there. If you end up visiting, feel free to reach out and I will send you restaurant recommendations!

Getting to tour the MacKenzie-Childs headquarters was an incredible opportunity. Not only is the property beautiful, but it was so nice to see the care and passion that goes into the MacKenzie-Childs brand. Each piece is carefully crafted and hand painted. We actually got to give it a try ourselves and paint a few mugs (can you guess which one is mine?). Let’s just say, it is much harder than it looks.

After touring the headquarters, we walked around the property and toured the Mackenzie-Childs Farm House. The Farm House was like a real life doll house. You may remember seeing my snapchat or instal-stories of our trip, but each room was a different MacKenzie-Childs theme. It was playful, fun and so colorful. It was such a sight to see!

Though the Courtly Check is the most popular pattern, I was pretty fond of the Parchment Collection. I love the soft creams and neutrals. This pattern makes for a great base if you want to add color or keep it simple and neutral. I loved using the Utensil Holder as a vase for my floral arrangement.

It was honestly one of the best work trips I’ve been on. Getting to see the love and passion that goes into each product was truly incredible.  I can’t wait to share what’s next for MacKenzie-Childs with you soon!
